Lei Day - June 1st

Lei Day is showing gratitude towards the first responders of the isles who had worked so graciously during the crisis in January and beforehand, when the isles were still undergoing such a shakeup. It’s here that the people are encouraged to create a Lei from the flowers growing in their homes and give them to the Comfey that will be visiting their homes.

From here, the Comfey will be bringing the Lei to the hardworking men and women of the responders and the people who were present during the original months of the game opening, and even if you weren’t part of the game opening, you still get a Lei from grateful people who are welcoming you into their homes.

The theme of this Lei Day is mentioned by Kahuna Hala, who says “We all have our own kuleana (responsibility) during this challenging time.”

Let us strive to move forward with the rest of Team Rainbow Rocket having given pause to the defense of our world, and recover the lost Arceus Plates from them and return them safely home in the coming months.

Lei Day is meant to be an interactive event, and allows for characters new and old to mingle and give out Leis to one another.


Music Festival - All Month

Throughout the entire month, the islands of Alola celebrate Mele Mei with scores of music festivals and live performances. Summer is prime time for tourists and there’s no better way for visitors and natives alike to immerse themselves in local music traditions.

Walking inside the pancake house greets guests with performances from bands ranging from jazz to traditional slack key. Or people can enjoy a bit of rock and roll out on the streets.

For those seeking a special event, flock to the beachfront at Hau’oli City for food, drinks, and a live concert as presented by famous artists- including Koffing and the Toxics, Dig-Dug-Leo, and more!

It's a beautiful sunny day in the Alola Region and the new school year has begun!

Welcome back everyone to the Alola Region from your summer vacation. School's begun and there's plenty to do on the first day. Some of your classmates have returned to their homes but there's still places to explore, things to do and people to see.

A sense of normal life has settled back onto the island, and Fallers are now arriving through the Pokemon Rideport, where a team of Pokemon Co Riders are launching on a daily basis to make sure that the road between worlds are safe.

Even so, there's still the end of Team Rainbow Rocket to deal with, as they've been quiet in their absence. Many of their members have subsequently given up their designs as of late, and several things have been quietly resolved in their wake. But in all, things have been welcome.

On the homefront, the Pokemon World Championships have begun! Signing up online will allow trainers to join the World Championship Circuit and participate in the ranked battles. Challengers from across the world can be battled any time, anywhere. Good luck! Standing at the top is Leon, from the Galar Region.

In all, it's a nice place to be in Alola. What new things can be in store today?

Today, a brand new chapter in our adventure begins! The long awaited school break has begun, and what better way to begin than a new spring break!

What we have is an amazing few weeks ahead of us. So enjoy the warm Alolan sun, as the ferry is open for a new spirited adventure awaiting!

Ash grinned as he stretched out as he stepped out into the bright sun. "See that sun Pikachu? We're going to have the greatest adventure yet, I can feel it!"

FERRUM SYNC EVENT MINGLE

For the next week, we'll be seeing a new addition to the connecting area of Alola!

Thalia Beach is a major strip of land that has both shared history between Ferrum and Alola, being that they are two major landmarks in each area of both regions. Connected by a massive reef, this is where the two landmasses of islands share their cultural significance and historical culture.

It is where they have made landfall.

Grandmaster Alyssa and her people have made landfall today, as scheduled by the Alolan Kahuna Committee and has begun setting up tents and a grand battle stage in show of the Cross Promotion Battle, where the Sync Battles of Ferrum were to be held.

Here, under the watchful eye of the four deities, the legendary Pokemon would start arriving one by one to join in this competition, free of shackles of their old ways and compete with worthy trainers in new and exciting Ferrum Sync Battles.

Grandmaster Alyssa is meeting with Champion Ash, and Professor Kukui to ensure a fair and amazing exhibition match would take place between her and the local Champion, and sign ups for a tournament down the line with a long time for preparation would take place to get used to the Ferrum Sync Battle System.

It is not to say that there is just battling to do. There are plenty of things to do during this long festival, and the spirit of cooperation is at hand.

Taking the boat towards Ferrum which is a few hours away, you can find the Haunted Mansions of Ghost Pokemon who are hosting their mad tea parties. The Blue Dome Aquarium full of water Pokemon and not to mention, Neos City where the party will make landfall upon arriving in Ferrum.

Passage is both ways, and on Alola, you can participate in the Magikarp Fishing Contest and a new event called Magikarp Jump which is a race to see how far your rented Magikarp can travel! There’s also a fishing tournament for general fishing, and that will be held locally as well, with many fishing competitors coming to the islands in general.

- The Battle AR links the minds of trainer and Pokemon, with an advertised nanosecond timing.
- Virtual Paint is used during broadcasts and from outside the force field capsule technology to differentiate two Pokemon of the same species battling
- Battle Capsules are medium-sized devices that generate the force field arenas used in Ferrum, different settings available for arenas of different shapes and sizes

4th Faller Post Part 2 - The Rodeo and Kukui’s Plan



It seems like the 4th Fallers haven’t quite acclimated to the fact that the Fallers and the Natives have everything well in hand, even after the Luau. With the upcoming Rodeo in Akala Island, Kukui has something more personal in mind.

So, in the schoolyard, some ways away from Giratina who has decided that the north side of the school would be a better place where the sun was shining and was still napping, he held up a ball.

“PokeDodge!” He exclaimed fondly, holding up a ball. “A sport played in Unova with several teams at an international level. Using Pokemon and People, we Work Up in order to prepare to throw the ball at the opponents to tag them! The rules are simple!”


1. There are 6 balls, split into 2 even groups near the ends of the centerline. During the opening rush (when the game starts), you may only grab the balls to your right.
2. You are out if: 1) you step on or over a sideline or centerline; 2) a thrown live ball hits your body; and 3) you throw a live ball and it is caught by an opponent.
3. A thrown live ball can only hit out 1 player. Thrown balls that hit the ground, the wall, other balls, or other objects before hitting the opponent are considered dead balls, and are ineligible to hit players out.
4. You may block a thrown ball with a held ball. However, if you drop the blocking ball during the act of blocking, or if you fail to make a clean block (as in the thrown ball still ends up hitting or grazing your body afterwards), you are out.
5. If you are out, line up on the side in the order you got out (think of it as being in an “resurrection” line). If your teammate catches a ball, the player at the start of your team’s “resurrection” line comes back into play after touching the wall (the teammate must be in the line at the time of the catch to be eligible to be brought back in).
6. You can only hold a ball for 10 seconds, afterwards, it will be considered dead. Dead balls need to be rolled over immediately to the other team.
7. If the game comes down to 1 player per side, they have 10 seconds to hit each other out; if not, "Showdown" comes into effect. The game is paused, each player gets two balls, two balls are lined up at the ends of the centerline, and the centerline is dissolved. The first player to get the other player out wins.


Kukui grinned. “Of course, this being PokeDodge, Pokemon will be playing too! Each player has their own partner Pokemon! Mine is…!”

And Incineroar burst out onto the field as he exclaimed, “ENJOY!”

His own students were completely embarrassed as well as excited as he laughed. “Grab your Pokemon Partner and let’s have a good match!”

While you can play dodgeball and mingle, the point is, to just really have fun. Enjoy yourselves before the Rodeo Festival Starts!

Throughout the rest of the week, the Pokemon 43rd Rodeo Festival has begun. Trainers, Ranchers and Rodeo Enthusiasts have come to Akala Island throughout the week until next Monday, which is when the 4th Wall Ends, to celebrate the event!

From here, you can do many sorts of things!

Mudsdale Rodeo - You can do the famous Mudsdale and Tauros Rodeo if you think you have the courage to do so!
Sign up for the All Pokemon Race which is held near the end of the week! Everyone gets a prize in the spirit of competition.

1. Festival Grounds - the faire grounds are huge, voluminous and there’s plenty of shops from locals to international people. Even Serena’s mother and the ranchers from Kanto that Ash knows are here,
2. Watch the Rhydon Races - Rhydon Racing is a popular sport, and Serena’s mom is top dog. I would bet on her if you want to win a race, though Serena, Ash’s girlfriend is riding in this one this year.
3. Petting Zoo - you know you wanna pet the Wooloo
4. Faire Rides - There’s lots of faire rides for everyone to enjoy
5. Akala Beach Boardwalk - There’s food, sand and surf for those to enjoy, yes it’s February but does that matter in Alola?
6. Wildcard! - It's a festival, go nuts.-


At the end of the month, Giratina decides it’s time to go. As it decides to wake up from it’s extended cat nap, it gives Ash and his friends a fond nuzzle and a rumble as it nods to the 4th Fallers as it opens a shimmering portal for each of them, beckoning them home. Time to undo his inadvertent damage. Apologies for the mess.

A 4thFaller Event!

It seems everything is peaceful in the four worlds at the time being. Things have calmed relatively down since the incident last month when Glomgold and his minions attacked Alola and Aether was lost to another world.

And then suddenly, the skies inverted. Going a brilliant violet color for a brief moment as the world’s colors turned inside out. There was a flash of familiarity from Ash as he looked up at the sound of a familiar cry as from the depths of the hole left behind where Aether once stood, a huge form erupted.

“What’s that?” asked Lana, leaning over the railing of the school as a massive form circled overhead.

“Giratina!” Exclaimed Ash, a pit opening up in his stomach at the sight of the legendary Pokemon. Not again…

With a massive roar, the legendary Pokemon slammed down into the courtyard of the school as students scattered and Pokemon tensed up for battle as the legendary roared. The air around it shimmered as the light of the Distortion World flashed around them as members of the assembled defense force that were stationed at the school’s portal summoned their Pokemon.

In a shimmering flash, I.Z.U. appeared next to the Ultra Guardians. “Warning,” she said, in her placid if slightly alarmed tone. “The presence of Giratina has severely compromised the structure of the dimensional fabric around Alola.”

“Meaning what?” asked Kiawe, tense and ready for battle as Giratina started pacing around in a circle.

“Giratina’s presence will cause people to slip through the boundaries of time and space at an alarming uncontrollable rate.” replied I.Z.U. “The chance of us controlling the rate of Falling is 0.0000001% until Giratina is returned to the Distortion World. Chances of Capture, are even less than that.”

“No way…” said Sophocles. “So what do we do now?”

“Hey guys?” said Mallow as Giratina started to hunker down like an oversized cat. “Is it me… or is Giratina…”

“About to take a nap…” finished Ash as Giratina started to sleep soundly in the courtyard, unconcerned with the Pokemon who were still tense up by its presence.

I.Z.U. tilted her head. “It seems it has gone into some sort of hibernation. Rotom-dex, please monitor it from here. I will return to the base and begin preparations to receive the new arrivals.” With that, she vanished.

Rotom sighed. “Sure, leave me to do all the hard work-roto.”

Ash rubbed his head with a sigh. “Well, I guess…? School’s still on! Even with a sleeping legendary Pokemon in our yard! But we should probably get a reception going for everyone who’s going to start appearing. Let’s go tell the town that more people are going to appear!”

With this in mind, the 4th wall has begun for the next two weeks! What brave fun will our visitors get up to today?

Arriving in the game, you get to experience life in the Pokemon Anime Universe in an Alternate Spinoff of the Alola Region Arc, based on the Ultra Sun and Moon Video Game storyline. Come in, rest a little, relax. Have some malasada. Kick up your feet. We have lots to do.


Our Ground Rules as Follows:

1. Everyone gets a Pokemon for any battle happy moments. The only Pokemon who are not on the table are actual mythicals and legendaries unless said character has a in character reason to possess them in their own canon.
2. Remember this is a PG setting with PG setting rules
3. Visitors are allowed to make top levels in this post and the Friday Event post as well as post open threads for the duration of the 4th wall
4. Duplicates are certainly allowed
5. Please refrain from destroying in-game property, this setting doesn’t allow for instant rebuilding of locations.
6. Visitors may always join our Discord for chatting with the cast during this event. A link will be active for the duration of the event and you may ask an active player for a link at any time.
7. In game NPCs can be available for questions at any time but please keep in mind that the head mod is only one person and can only do so many tags at any given time. If you haven’t received a tag yet, it is because there is a queue.

Days later, a communication blossomed into Alola's communications relay and all the Rotom-dex's on the Chase Team and Home Team and Away Team that were stranded. The sight was familiar to the Away, and a startling note to the Chase and Home teams.

"People of Alola," said Giovanni. "And of Duckburg and Crystal Cove. We of the Ultra Metropolis Rocket Alliance have come to an agreement and we've finished calibrating the system. We've finally managed to get the E-Power to be bypassed between our worlds and yours. We're transmitting coordinates between our Worlds and yours. Prepare to receive."

Nodding to the violet haired woman next to him, she uploaded coordinates. "Enclosed is the receiving transmission for Ultra Metropolis in Alternate Alola. Please receive them, to reclaim your missing team members and President Lusamine. We're still working on trying to return your Aether Foundation in time, as well as your equipment that was lost. As for the Arceus Plates, they are missing. Probably taken by Team Rainbow Rocket on the way out."

"Make no mistake, Team Rocket is different from Team Rainbow Rocket. Jessie, James, Meowth, Wobbafett, I am placing you four in charge of operations and liason between our group and ours. This is bigger than all our worlds. Prepare to receive your missing comrades."

In an instant, the Ultra Hole would blossom open in Alola, Crystal Cove and Duckburg's Landing Pads. With the Link Established, the World Travel System is formally open.

Giovanni settled back. "I think this will be a first good step in our goodwill. Destroyer of Worlds. I hope this satisfies our end of the bargain."
