A. Assuming The Change of the Directional Wind

The sensation of falling had been peculiar for Hop, and Wooloo but when they had landed in the Spaceport, they had been greeted by the people at the counter, processed and assured that they could return once they got their Spacial-Coordinates sorted out.

For Hop however, he was still surprised that he was in another world, similar to his own but so unlike it. For one, there was no Regional Dex. People could just bring whatever Pokemon there were in the area. That was a bonkers thing. Pokemon just came and went at any time. This place also had a lot of world travelers as well from all sorts of places.

"This place is completely mad, isn't it Wooloo?" remarked Hop, rubbing his head, as Wooloo "Baahed" in reply. "Let's go check the local telly and see if there's something that we can figure out. I wonder if Leon's on the telly in this world."

B. Wandering Around Spinning in Circles

After realizing that his world and this one was a little different and yes, Leon was in this world and apparently something called the World Monarch (what a heckuva title), Hop was fired up to check out the place. And else was there but to try and figure out to do but to explore the sights and get his hooks into some Pokemon Battles!

"Whaddya say Wooloo? Up for some Pokemon Battling?"

"Baah!" Exclaimed Wooloo, nodding.

"All right, let's get going. Hey! Hi there! Can we interest you in a Pokemon battle?"

C. Danger On the Horizon

Hop had discovered the warnings of the men in the green outfits and while he and Wooloo were fishing, he had noticed the men in the area. Frowning, he picked up his Rotomphone and tapped out a message to the local enforcement. "We should probably wait and see if someone arrives," he said to Wooloo, cautiously. "Who knows what they're up to."

“Huh? Who, me?”

Dawn blinked in surprise as she was asked to battle. Boy, it had been awhile since she was asked something like that.

“Sure, I don’t mind!”

Hop grinned and pumped a hand. "All right mate! You ready for this Wooloo?"

"Bah!" Exclaimed Wooloo, waving its fluffy little body in the air excitedly.

"Remember to do everything that we're practiced and you'll be fine. Okay?" Wooloo nodded. "All right, Wooloo I choose you!"

"Well, then, I'll start simple myself - go for it Piplup!"

As Dawn throws out her Pokeball, the penguin Pokemon hops out... and still holding onto its prized catch.

"Oh, that's right. Sorry, Piplup, you're fighting today." she said, removing the Pokeball from its back.

"Pip!" the penguin chirped, nodding.

"I've never seen a Pokemon holding onto a Pokeball before, but there's a first time for everything," admitted Hop, wondering just why a Piplup would be holding onto a Pokeball like that.

"I guess we're set. All right, it's Piplup vs Wooloo. Let's do this! Wooloo use Tackle!"

"Beh!" Wooloo hopped forward and started rolling towards Piplup, gathering speed. It was fairly slow but it was picking up some movement.

"It's a long story, I'll tell you about it later!" Dawn said, grinning sheepishly.

With the Wooloo charging headlong, Dawn can't help but blink. Something seems odd.

"Piplup, Bubblebeam!"

With that, the penguin thrusted its head forward, a stream of bubbles leaving its beak.

The bubblebeam slammed into Wooloo and it bounced high from the attack, much to Hop's dismay. "Wooloo!" He exclaimed, as Wooloo let out a "beh!" of surprise from the impact as it flailed. "Oh uh... Defense Curl!"

Pulling in its arms and legs and tucking its head down into its fluffy fur, it sailed downwards towards Piplup in a headlong dive as it stiffened its defense up.

A cannonball?

"Plup?" The penguin tilted its head in confusion as the ball of fluff came at it.

"Watch out, Piplup, I think it's going for a fluffy Rollout...!" Dawn said.

"Piiiiip!" the penguin yelped, leaping out of its way.

Wooloo hit the ground, bounced a couple of times and rolled to a stop. It unfolded and "beeh"ed dizzily. "Wooloo are you okay?" called out Hop as it righted itself and "beehed" confidently.

"You're all right... all right, let's go again! Tackle attack Wooloo!"

"Beh!" This time, pawing the dirt, Wooloo charged forward as best as it could, at ramming speed.

"Tackle again?" Dawn said, blinking. "I wonder... Piplup, let the Wooloo hit you!"

"Pip?!" the penguin chirped in confusion, letting the Wooloo hit it and knocking it over. "Piiip?"

"Beh!" Exclaimed Wooloo, righting itself. And it nudged Piplup again with all the fuzzy power it could muster. "Beh, beh!"

"I guess we need to work on our tackle power some more," admitted Hop. "No way we'll be defeating anyone with that much power behind it."

"Beh!" Exclaimed Wooloo confidently, nudging Piplup once more and trying to sumo him a little.

"Piiiip..." Piplup was confused if it should be amused or annoyed as he kept finding himself leaning backwards by this ball of fluff.

"I thought so." Dawn said, nodding. "Heart's in the right place, just need more training." There's a giggle before nodding. "Piplup, let Wooloo knock you over. It deserves it."

"Pip!" It lifted its feet and let the sheep knock it over on its back.

"Beh!" Exclaimed Wooloo triumphantly as he toppled Piplup. "Beh beh!" Exclaimed Wooloo happily at Hop who walked over and patted his friend over on the head.

"You did great Wooloo. Your first battle! I'm impressed." Looking up at Dawn, he said, "Thanks for indulging him. He's been really raring to go with all these impressive battlers he's seen on the island. And all these Z-moves and all these strong people, it's gotten him real excited. I'm Hop, and this is my buddy Wooloo. We're from the Galar Region, or at least a parallel one. My brother's Champion Leon. I heard he's some kind of Monarch here or something?"

"No problem! I think we've all been in that sort of situation before." Dawn said. "Believe me, you'll have plenty of time to improve."

"I'm Dawn and you already know Piplup. We're from the Sinnoh Region of this world. And yes, that's what he's called here, though... he's your brother?"

"It's nice to meet you both," said Hop, offering a handshake. "And yeah, yeah he is. He's my older brother, and I really look up to him. We live in Wedgehurst back home, though Leon's completely pants with directions. He can't find his way home without Charizard or me leading him."

Dawn took the offer and shook Hop's hand, though the talk about Leon's sense of direction caused her to smirk a bit.

"I see some things don't change - our Leon's just as bad!"

"Oh so you've met him? He's terrible innit? Can't even get to the breakfast table without having someone to hold his hand. At least in a closed building he's not that bad." laughed Hop.

Wooloo beh'ed in agreement.

"But yeah, so you've been to Galar then?"
