Not the way she wanted it to go!

“Woah, hey! Enough is enough!”

Yuzu needed some fresh air and time away from everything, thus she took her Jigglypuff out with her on a drive around the island. That would have been easy enough - drive her bike around the island and when she reached a point where she couldn’t go any further, she’d use a Ride Pokémon.

That WAS the plan. However, partway through her drive, she had accidentally caught the attention of a very feisty Scyther, who damaged her bike and sent her flying.

And now both she and Jigglypuff were busy fighting it. Using her Duel Disk’s hard light projector, she blocked a blade coming from the bug Pokémon.

“Cut it out, fight my Jigglypuff, not me!” Yuzu yelled as her Pokémon punched it with Pound. The Scyther growled before swinging another blade, clipping some of Yuzu’s hair. “Okay, that tears it! Jigglypuff, let ‘em have it!”

“PUUUUFF!” Her Pokémon yelled, Doubleslapping it, dazing it but still having fight in it. This might be a tad rough...

Tony was in a little bit of a funk. Sure he had Pepper, but the kid and Peni had gone home and he had barely enough time to take care of his own needs.

With Golurk holding groceries and him carrying things, he noticed Yuzu there fighting a Scyther. "Kid, you need some help?" he called out, setting his things down and taking the groceries from Golurk just in case.

“Oh! Mr. Stark! Ah, I could use a little—“ she began to say before dodging another slash, smacking the Scyther in the head with her fan. “STOP GOING FOR MY HAIR!”

She let out a sigh at as she focused on Tony. “Please?”

"I got this. Pull back a little kid. Golurk!"

Golurk bellowed a challenging cry as he exclaimed, "Ally Protect!"

Golurk blurred and in an instant, appeared in front of Jigglypuff, swapping places with the smaller Pokemon as he threw up his massive arms as a protective barrier formed.

"Ally Protect! Utilizing Ally Switch, Golurk switches position with an ally Pokemon and activates Protect at the same time to cover its ally!" Exclaimed Doreen, Tony's Rotom. "You got it working, huh boss?"

“Wow, that’s awesome!” Yuzu said, impressed. The Scyther would be busy hacking at the protect. “Jigglypuff, Doubleslap again! Let’s add this one to our group!”

“Puff!” The balloon Pokémon said, slapping the Scyther again

"Back it up Golurk, Double Gyro!"

"Double Gyro! Another Combo Attack thought up by the boss!" Exclaimed Doreen as Golurk started to spin rapidly, moving quickly and blurring around rapidly to confuse the Scyther in order to plow into it from behind in combination with Jigglypuff. "Using it's Double Team to raise its Evasiveness by +1, it utilizes the momentum of Gyro Ball to wind into a powerful attack!"

"I'm still waiting on approval from the League for these moves," said Tony. "You should try Double Gyro too, kid. It might actually work for your Jigglypuff even though it's not very slow."

“It’s very showy, too - perfect for You Show School!” Yuzu said, grinning. “Jigglypuff, mimic that with Rollout and your own Gyro Ball!”

The Jigglypuff looked at Yuzu curiously before realizing what it could do, revving itself up and slamming into the Scyther as well, staggering the big Pokémon.

"Good job kid, let's bring it home! Golurk, Stone Edge!"

Coming out of it's roll, Golurk spun and slammed its fist down onto the ground as spears of glowing azure rock scythed towards the Scyther.

“Jigglypuff, pull out for a simple Pound!” Yuzu called out, her Pokémon obeying and delivering a distracting blow that allows Golurk’s attack to strike true.

“And now...!” With that, Yuzu pulled out a Pokeball and threw it, beaning the Scyther and sucking it inside.

One, two, three! Click!

“Alright, we caught it!”

Cheered up immensely by Yuzu's enthusiasm, Tony chuckled. "You did it. Good job. So you have a feisty new Pokemon partner huh?"

"Yup! I totally owe you one, Mr. Stark." Yuzu said, retrieving her Pokeball. "I'm sure the stupid thing wouldn't have left me alone if someone didn't pass by."

"Pokemon are like that. They see a goal, and they go for it. Kinda like a few people I know."

Looking at Golurk who tilted his head, Tony smiled a little. "I guess you two are going to take some time to get to know one another huh?"

"I was going to let it cool off a bit, but..." Yuzu said, tossing the Pokeball out and letting the Scyther out, the Pokemon confused as it looked around.

"You wanna stick around?"

"If you have everything under control...?" ventured Tony carefully.
