Pokemon School - Water Pokemon Assignment!

Today in Pokemon School, there has been an assignment for the classes! Everyone gets to go out on the Ride Pokemon onto the ocean. It's a simple little all day assignment where we get to socialize with people young and old across the classes.

Dressed in clothing suited for actual swimming as well as being on the water, Misty and Professor Kukui are heading up this lesson with Misty's best friend and semi-TA for this lesson Lana!

"All right class, everyone ready? We're going to head out on the Ride Pokemon, so let's get set! Everyone got your fishing poles? We're going to head out to Lana's fishing spot, which is out on the open ocean! It's going to be a beautiful day today, and then we'll head to the site of the Totem Pokemon, Wishiwashi. It'll be a fun day, so please everyone get ready to learn about Water Pokemon!

Get to know Alola’s habitat... this, he could do. The water doesn’t look all that different from above, but underneath is a different story, right? The colours and textures of the sand, the Pokemon living there...

“It seems like the land is very important to the people here... but someone mentioned the water being polluted by a junkyard or something?”

"I noticed that yes," said Misty, frowning. "Seems like there's some junk in the area, coming from the Lagoon. If you can find the source it might be helpful. I've still got my hands full, so if you can help poke around, it'll be useful. I'm still looking about but I have a few more students to juggle right now. Sorry I can't be everywhere at once but we've only got three teachers for several students."

Ah, he didn’t mean to blame her... he wanted to say that, but felt he missed his chance.

“That’s alright. You do a lot. Um... is it possible for some of us to pitch in, help teach something?”

If he was going to stick around Alola for a while, he wouldn’t mind helping teach.

"I don't see why not," said Misty. "Sharing knowledge from other Regions is something we're encouraging this year, so if you want to teach a lesson, bring it up to Principal Oak. I'm sure he'll let you teach a lesson on anything you want."

Misty grinned. "You know, Ash said you'd be pretty good at anything you teach."

“Ash... said that?”

That boy was just so kind, he felt warm, but also ashamed. He’d been awfully rude to him before, if it were someone else saying that, he could’ve thought it was teasing him for being a know-it-all, but from Ash, it’s clearly sincere; moreover, he said this to a friend who’s teaching classes...

“I’ll do that. Thanks.”

"Ash doesn't say it much, considering he's Ash and all, but he thinks highly of the people whom he's met on the road." said Misty, smiling. "I'm sure you'll learn a lot from him."
