Pokemon School - Water Pokemon Assignment!

Today in Pokemon School, there has been an assignment for the classes! Everyone gets to go out on the Ride Pokemon onto the ocean. It's a simple little all day assignment where we get to socialize with people young and old across the classes.

Dressed in clothing suited for actual swimming as well as being on the water, Misty and Professor Kukui are heading up this lesson with Misty's best friend and semi-TA for this lesson Lana!

"All right class, everyone ready? We're going to head out on the Ride Pokemon, so let's get set! Everyone got your fishing poles? We're going to head out to Lana's fishing spot, which is out on the open ocean! It's going to be a beautiful day today, and then we'll head to the site of the Totem Pokemon, Wishiwashi. It'll be a fun day, so please everyone get ready to learn about Water Pokemon!

Well that sure as eventful. Peter had only barely managed to not get caught in that crazy explosion and was back on shore, towel over his shoulders and hair a curly mess as he settled in for lunch, Shelob right by his side and Peeves tucked away back in its pokeball.

"Well that was. A thing." He says, sounding a little exhausted. At least his senses can relax while he's on dry land. "Think I might need a nap after that."

"Spina..." Shelob gently pats his leg.

"You're not the only one."

Kaiba gestures up to Kisara, who's sleeping soundly on top of his head. He carefully presses a cold green berry-infused drink into Peter's hand.

"Arachnid aspear. This one's on the house."

Is that a little smirk? Yes, yes it is.

Arachnid aspear? Peter wonders as the drink is pressed into his hand. He looks at it carefully before taking a sip. It's... wonderfully sour and somehow sweet, too? It's almost like those sour gummies he likes so much.

"Thanks! That's awesome." He says cheerily before offering a drink to Shelob. She also seems to really like it. "Glad she's okay." Peter says, nodding up at Kisara. "I still don't get why that escalated so fast."

"Mimikyu looks like a distorted Pikachu, doesn't it? Maybe it's jealousy."

Kaiba reaches up to give her a fond pat. "Your quick thinking saved her. So...this is for that."

Because he's almost allergic to 'thank you' as a phrase.

Peter frowns a little, thinking about how Flash is usually more likely to make his life Hell if Peter answers a question correctly that Flash had gotten wrong in class, or right after test results come back.

"Maybe... but that's some violent jealousy." He states, taking another drink.

"Oh that? It was no problem, really. I'm always happy to help when I can."

"I'll have to keep a closer eye on her."

The little Pikachu stirs and makes a soft noise. He laughs and reaches up, giving her a gentle pat. He can't help but love her. It's just lucky that the others were here too.

"Are your Pokémon all right? I fed them in the commotion, but I know that couldn't cover everything."

"Oh yeah, I don't think anything even hit Peeves." Who has since been returned to its pokeball for now. Until it lets itself out again, anyway. "And Shelob didn't take too much damage, she's just a little miffed at me for being reckless."

"Spinarak." Shelob nods to confirm the statement. Crazy Spider-kid was gonna get himself stolen too and she can't have that. He needs her to look out for him! And she bets he left his inhaler back home, too. Ugh. Like he left Dwayne.

"Thanks for taking care of them though. I think I'm gonna have to look up Team Rocket when I get home later."

"She really cares, huh."

He'd seen that during the battle. It was...inspiring, actually.

"I'd heard of them before this. They're looking after Zuzu in their downtime, and they broke a promise to her in dumping all that waste. That's why I came to deal with this. It's no way to treat your charge. I'd thought they were buffoons before...and my opinion hasn't really changed."

"Yeah, but I mean, I usually know what I'm doing." Peter admits, glancing down at Shelob who still looked pretty miffed at him and maybe like she doesn't even kind of believe that statement.

"Did they sign up to have someone live with them? Because I mean-I might be sixteen but even I know you're not supposed to lie to your kid."
