Pokemon School - Water Pokemon Assignment!

Today in Pokemon School, there has been an assignment for the classes! Everyone gets to go out on the Ride Pokemon onto the ocean. It's a simple little all day assignment where we get to socialize with people young and old across the classes.

Dressed in clothing suited for actual swimming as well as being on the water, Misty and Professor Kukui are heading up this lesson with Misty's best friend and semi-TA for this lesson Lana!

"All right class, everyone ready? We're going to head out on the Ride Pokemon, so let's get set! Everyone got your fishing poles? We're going to head out to Lana's fishing spot, which is out on the open ocean! It's going to be a beautiful day today, and then we'll head to the site of the Totem Pokemon, Wishiwashi. It'll be a fun day, so please everyone get ready to learn about Water Pokemon!

"Even if you don't care about the environment, the local economy depends on a healthy ocean. If the ocean loses those creatures, you'll pay the price eventually."

And they lied to their charge! That was unforgivable. Goomy frowned at them too, conveying her Disappointment.

"Well too bad! I don't care what that pink brat thinks! Coming in here and taking over, James is doting over too much already!" Snapped Jessie, in a jealous fit.

"Now, now, I'm not doting, I just want to set a good example..."

"Shut up, I'm on a roll! First we were denied the chance to be Champion and now we have to play wetnurse? This is unacceptable!" Exclaimed Jessie, eyes literally blazing with flames. "Even if you don't think this is right James, at least our evil organization shouldn't go down in reputation!"

"That's right! We're Team Rocket and we should be bad to the bone!" Added Meowth.

"But our profits! Do you realize how much money Zuzu's brought in for us at the donut stand?" Whined James. "We made so much money back from the expenditures on the Super Bewear Robot X!"

"Fine, fine, let me just release my frustrations on them" Jessie pulled out a black Pokeball and released a Mimikyu. "Mimikyu, you're up! Go get them!"

There was a moment of dull silence from Mimikyu.

"Mimikyu go get them! Look! Look! There's a Pikachu!"

THAT GOT ITS ATTENTION! Mimikyu burned with [PURE EVIL]

"Holy shit!" Explaims Peter as his sense is suddenly screaming at him, causing a shiver to run up his spine. "What the hell?" Okay so, something bad's about to happen. Of that he's certain.

There's still no way to change to his Spider-suit and he can't really do much as Peter Parker. He's the weak, awkward kid.

"Spina!" Shelob states in a 'leave this to me' kind of way.

"Uh... you wanna go Shelob?" He asks her from where she sits on his head.

"Spinarak!" She nods.

"Yeah, okay. Here we go. Show'em that spider spirit, use string shot and let's web'em up!"

String Shot was surprisingly effective at keeping Mimikyu bound at least for a few moments, as the Pokemon focused a burning hatred glare onto Kisara. All of that rage against the Chu was palatable as it hissed which sent up a shiver up every Pokemon's spine.

"Stop saying those spooky things!" Exclaimed Meowth.

"Wobbafett!" Exclaimed Wobbafett.

"I'm... just going to be over here right now..." said James, but he was grabbed by Jessie by the collar. "Hey!"

"You're getting in this too!"

"But Jessie! Fine. Sorry about this! Mareanie! Go!"

With a burst of light, Mareanie materialized -- and grabbed onto James' head, clamping down to toxic him. As James struggled with Mareanie, Jessie facepalmed. "I don't know why I even bother. MIMIKYU SHADOW CLAW!"

Bursting a claw free of the String Shot, Mimikyu aimed a [Shadow Claw] at Kisara!

No. How dare they. It was too late for Kaiba to pull his Pikachu back, but she could still be protected.

"Goomy, protect!"

The little gooey dragon jumps in front with her shield. It's still a hard strike, and she cries out a little, but trainer and Pikachu hold fast.

“Leave them alone!” Darn it! No way to break away and transform! She’ll have to do this the hard way, summoning Haunter out, causing her to shiver and look away.

“U-use Night Shade on the one going after the Pikachu!” She ordered, letting the Haunter unleash a burst of dark energy on the Mimikyu

Wait, Night Shade? On a MIMIKYU?!

"Wait, Night Shade on a Mimikyu?" asked James seconds before Mimikyu batted it away -- right into his face. "BLARGH!"

"Mare?!" Exclaimed Mareanie, as James fell prone. Okay, new target. She leaped into the air, and aimed at Ghosts. What was strong in her arsenal against Ghosts thought Mareanie? Pin Missle? No, Sludge Bomb? No, oh right.

"HEY HAUNTER!" Yelled Mareanie at Haunter in Poke-speak, something all Pokemon but no humans would get as she closed in on him, aiming a [Knock Off] at his face. "Stay away from my HUSBAND!"

"dIe." said Mimikyu in the same vein to Kisara, as he aimed a [Shadow Ball] at her and Goomy and Shelob.

"Hey man, why are we even doing this? All we did was ask you to please stop yeeting shit into the ocean." He gives a dramatic gesture to said ocean. No spider-suit. He's gotta rely on Shelob for this one. She can do it-she's done so much for him since he's been here.

"Shelob, wanna be a pal and help the others?"

"Spinarak!" Shelob agrees.

"Awesome! Then let's go! Jump up and let's try constrict this time!" Peter points towards the Mimikyu.

Fine, then. He'll go on the offense.

"Kisara, show them you're not running scared!"

Goomy makes another worried noise and turns to Haunter for help. It's a little scary out here. She casts her shell and cries out while Kisara charges a Thunder Wave from behind the barrier. A good stun might do it.

"Haunter, watch out!" Ellen called out, just in time to dodge the Knock Off attack. The Haunter stuck out its tongue at the Mareaine before noticing Goomy.

Oh, it needs help, huh? With it protecting itself in its shield, Haunter came in front of it and balled up its fists.

"Let's get a little rough! Shadow Punch, now! Knock away that creepy plant!" With that, it turned its attention towards Mareaine and threw a Ghostly punch at it.

Constrict tightened around Mimikyu as the attacks paralyzed him and he fell limp with a ksssh. Mareanie was Shadow Punched in the face, and fell to the ground.

With few options, Jessie turned to Meowth. "Do something Meowth!"

"Fine, fine!" exclaimed Meowth, pulling out a literal rocket launcher with a armed rocket. "At least we can get away with some strong Pokemon! Firing the Net-O-Matic 9000!"

Shooting rockets at the group which exploded into nets, it wrapped around Shelob, Kisara, Goomy and Haunter, and started dragging them towards Team Rocket as Jessie laughed maniacally.

"How's that brats!? We'll take your Pokemon and give them to the boss! That'll show you for standing in the way of progress!"

"What hit me?" moaned James, dizzily from his prone state. "Are we winning?"

"What?" Peter let's out his voice squeaking slightly at his outburst. "We tell you to get it together and pollute and you steal the Pokemon? What kind of stupid plan it that?" Peter can't help but ask. Did that really happen? Did they actually say that? And isn't that cheating?

"Shelob!" He cries out as she's snatched in the net. Now what? He can't do much as Peter Parker. He has his webshooters but he'd really rather not if he can't help it, but it's starting to look an awful lot like the can't.

Just then there's a noise and Peeves makes an appearance.

"Peeves the Rotogeist. You wanna help?"

"Ro." the rotom nods with a giggle.

"Alright, let's see what you can do. Go for Astonish." He commands. While everyone is focused on covering their ears, Peter fires a web at the boat team rocket's on and jumps to pull himself towards it-but lower on the boat so he can make a show pretending to have swam over.

"Surprise bitch. I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me."

"Who are you, some kind of Spinerak-boy?" exclaimed Meowth, aiming the rocket launcher at him. "No matter, we'll get you too!"

"My eyes!" Exclaimed Jessie and James, the Astonish blinding them.

"Wobbafett!" added Wobbafett, also blinded.

"Launching!"

He misses by a mile. Oh, and the Pokemon break free from his inattention.

"Darn your Joltik-wiggle!"

Kaiba bites back a curse. His poor Pokémon struggle against the net, but they're weakened by the battle and not strong enough to do it on their own. He's about to jump out with a knife in hand when Peter...shoots spider webs at it. That's not suspicious at all, no sir.

But Definitely Not Spider-Man did it. He actually did it. So Kaiba rushes forward to help the dazed Pokémon, including those not his own, reaching into his pocket and feeding them a small handful of berries.

That... was very suspicious! Ellen had already sent out Alcremie to help try to rescue her Haunter and the others, but it was Peter’s actions that saved it in the end.

“That tears it! Haunter, if you got the strength, Mean Look!” She said, the ghost intending on glaring at and preventing them from escaping.

"Something like that." Peter smirks at the comment, feeling that familiar prickle at the back of his neck. He dodges with near in human speed and gets up on his feet.

"Oh come on. You can do better than that! I was like three feet away? Should I make it easier? I can come closer. Maybe I should Yeet you into the ocean." He offers, that same smirk on his face.

"Won't do that though-that's animal cruelty-Pokemon cruelty. Whatever." Peter shrugs it off. "Come on, I'll stand right here. Take your best shot." He stands so his arms opened up.

Meanwhile, Shelob takes a berry and she feels better than ever. Time to rescue Peter from his reckless self. She fires another string shot.

"That tears it!" Exclaimed Jessie as Meowth struggled with the weapon. "Get up James, we're gonna--urk!"

Mean Look hammered into the team, paralyzing them all in a single hit as they were all rocked by it as Meowth dropped the rocket launcher -- seconds before Shelob's String Shot impacted it. It rocketed upwards and into the water where it sizzled and started to beep rapidly.

"Uh... oh..." chorused the group.

"Do you think..." started James.

"That this is now..." said Jessie.

"The time we're about to see the stars?" said Meowth seconds before the weapon reached critical.

"Wobbafett!" exclaimed Wobbafett.

A massive explosion rocketed the boat as they were hurled high into the skies with a loud cry of "We're blasting off again!!"

And then, without warning, like a torpedo that was rocketing across the skies, literally Web-Swinging across the skies and hooking onto the clouds, Bewear came charging across the skies with her cub on her shoulders. She fired a web from a wrist-mounted Spinarak and scooped up the skyward Team Rocket.

"Whatever is this feeling?" moaned the group as Bewear Web-slinged her way across the clouds back towards the islands.
