Island Visits! - Akala Island Tour

Welcome to Akala Island!
It's here that the Fallers have been asked to come along on the boat ride to visit the site of Wela Volcano, on behest of Olivia, the Island Queen. It's here you will be given a tour of the area, and allowed to stay at the Pokemon Center for a week while visiting the area, before heading back to Melemele Island.
It's to both familiarize yourself with the Island, and get to know the Locals, as well as perhaps spend some quality time with the people and places of the landscape. Also, participation in the local Fire Festival has also been announced, to see what kind of ceremony the locals have to honor the traditions of Alola.
WELA SHRINE
It is here that you will visit the site on the first day. Even with or without your Pokemon, this place radiates a serene, sacred harmony. You, as Fallers, are here in the Off-Season, and thus, there are no people around except for you and the three Hikers who are milling about who might have answers for you if you ask further. Olivia is tending to the shrine, giving thanks to the volcano for it's life-giving nature. It is a serene, sacred moment. There's a buzzing feel of anticipation, as people have already begun to visit the site.

FARMLANDS
Many farmlands dot the landscape and one of these belongs to Rango and Sima, their son Kiawe who participated in the Pokemon League last year. They run a Farm which you, as Fallers, are allowed to work at, and live at if you so desire. Taking care of Pokemon, feeding them, shipping milk and other farm-fresh products out of the farm every day is hard but rewarding labor. And you will be paid well, given a place to live, and there is soft serve ice cream on the regular.

PIKACHU VALLEY
The last stop on the list for the middle of the week, is a surprise! At the middle of the week before the real event begins, Kiawe has arranged a visit from a woman named Pikala who brings the Fallers to a place called Pikachu Valley! A place of fun and excitement, there are literally hundreds of Pikachu everywhere.
Some of these Pikachu are up for adoption to people who wish to have a partner, and many of them are very prideful and willful as the Pikachu nature is apparent, but they are friends for life no matter the cost. And Pikala has names for each and every one of them!

FIRE FESTIVAL

What you might believe is a actual festival, is more of a feeling of burning anticipation. Hundreds of people are gathered at the Shrine, as Olivia stands at the front of the Shrine, a ancient looking crown sitting on the Shrine's head. Here, she spreads her arms.
"People of Alola, and those who come from afar! Thank you all for coming! Today, we give thanks to Wela, the life giving power. May its blessing keep us forevermore from being overcome by the raging inferno of Fire. Remember its power, and its strength."
For a moment, there's reverent silence before everyone begins to start milling up the island path, Pokemon out. There's so many Pokemon, not just Fire Pokemon, but Pokemon of all kinds.
Kiawe explains as he and his Charizard stands in line. "The Crown is placed upon the head of the Pokemon who receives it, and it boosts the power of the Pokemon who wears it for the year. Not only that, but it blesses the Pokemon with the protection of Wela. Wela is the live giving source of power of our land. Without it, Akala Island wouldn't be as fertile and nourishing to Alola as it would be. It's a sacred, humble power that we live under, for at any given moment, Wela could take everything from us in an instant."
Kiawe smiled. "That is why, we need to respect it, and never over-industrialize the landscape. Otherwise, Wela will become angry, and destroy the land in raging lava."
Many more Questions about Akala can be asked about this land, and soon, it's the Fallers turn to be blessed by Olivia, one by one.
When the Week Ends
The Boat Ride back to Melemele is an interesting one. You have time to discuss what you've seen. Perhaps new Pokemon friends you've obtained or met. One thing is for certain, there's a new viewpoint on the land you've just walked in. The power of Wela, the Pikachu's who live in the world. The new Fire Pokemon who you have just encountered. All this and more.
All this and more, as the Journey Continues!
To Be Continued!

COME AT ME OLIVA
While on Mele Mele, it did not take Yuume long to be pointed toward Kahuna Hala to ask about a good place to continue her workout. Much as she needed to keep up the training with her shadow-state, she can't well give up the physical work either.
So she's trying to figure out...well. Where to do that for the week. At the moment it looks like she's about to ask the Nurse Joy- her audino however, is tugging at her sleeve and pointing to someone who looks Far More Likely to know where to have a good workout!
She has come!
Just the person that Yuume needed to see after all. She was bright and early, with her Lycanroc following behind her, as she placed down an order of delicate looking bracelets. "Here you go Joy. Oh, are you the person that was asking to see me? I'm Olivia."

"Auudinooo~"
At any rate. "Ah...If I could get into my workout clothing first though, that might be best; it won't take me long."

She took a moment to greet some of the locals, Ash, who was passing by and was glad to see her, as Yuume went to change.

But, soon enough she'll be back, dressed more like one of those 'battle girls' from Hoenn.
"Alright- let's go~!"
no subject
"I'm all right!" She exclaims after a moment. "This is normal, all normal!"
Getting up, she grins. "Just all according to plan!"
no subject
"O-Olivia..." YIKES... "R...Alright then...!"
O- Off they go...

"It's perfect..! Thank you so much, Olivia..!"
She'll get to her routine right away- !

OTA | Olivia's Training Yard
Right now, she looks more like those Battle Girls, albeit in pastel blue and yellow.
"H-hhhhh-HAH!" And for good reason.
The yard is perfect; warm-up has already been done, so Yuume is easily able to slip into her usual routine. There's some weight lifting, which at one point involves her getting curious enough to try how Olivia herself does it- and results in her hauling a boulder up herself. There's also however, her katas. Yuume's job includes fighting. Fighting doesn't always leave room for a sword. Sometimes you're disarmed- and sometimes, your body is all you have for the fight.
"HUH-! HR-HAHH!"
So she's punching. Kicking. And every now and then, provided she's actually allowed to strike this one...
"HAUH!"
Obviously the rock doesn't break, but there's definitely a bit of cracking there!! (Intense!)

They're walking peacefully when they hear the shouts. That voice---he reaches down to scoop Goomy up, makes a sharp turn, and runs for it, racing around the corner prepared to do something when he sees that no one's in any real danger.
He flips his hair back and stares at his great grand-whatever.
"...oh. Right. Training."
no subject
Ah, that was a voice. "Mnh?" Yuume turns, batting a bit of hair from her eyes. "Ah- Seto?" Well, now is as good a time as any for a break. While she goes to get a waterbottle from the side, Audino will move to greet the group herself- waving at the pikachu on the teen's shoulder, and at Kaiba himself. "Were you looking for Olivia, perhaps? This is her training yard, so..."
No he had a shonen momentno subject
"No. I heard shouting. I thought someone was causing you trouble."
He looks around at the damage to the yard. "Detective work is that dangerous."
no subject
There's a bit of a cough. "...I...am sorry about the shouting though; the area seemed fairly secluded..."
It is, shhh.
no subject
He totally wasn't panicking or anything, no sir. He sits next to Goomy in the grass, wiping his brow with a handkerchief.
"I've only dabbled, but you have excellent form."
no subject
The woman blinks, crossing her arms. "...What sort of exercise do you 'dabble' in, then?"
no subject
Kaiba hums to himself and sheds his outer shirt, leaving him in a white tank and zip-offs. He's tragically fashion impaired, but it's getting a little hot here.
"I was frequently targeted by traitors among the shareholders, and others who sought to take me out for a shot at riches. I've also trained myself for interstellar travel."
There's a flicker of doubt on his face as he mentions that, but he shakes it off. "Do you train with weapons as well?"
no subject
"Ahhh...just a sword," she chuckles. "Technically it's kendo, but I could fight with a much larger blade if I wanted!" Necessary is probably not the word to use about swords after all. "Interstellar travel though... ...AH-" Understanding clicks in. "...Because of early-dimensional travel, right? The subways are so safe and common now that even children can ride them, so it's hard to remember it began that way sometimes..."
no subject
Kaiba's not being even the slightest bit sarcastic here. Honest. He's faintly impressed, actually.
"Mm. Pioneers have the roughest go of it, and things can so easily go wrong. Sacrifices, sometimes unintentional..."
There's a lot to unpack there. His gaze becomes distant for a moment before he shakes his head. He hesitates for a moment, wondering before just coming out with it.
"Is that why you rejected the Kaiba name?"
no subject
But there is something more there. "...Beyond that, it was a decision I made almost ten years ago, like I said..."
no subject
"I wouldn't blame you if that was the case. There are plenty of black marks on our family history, and I..."
am one of them. He balls his fists. It's all he can do to keep his worst fears from consuming him. It's not too late to change...it can't be too late.
"Yet you kept the slightest connection to our dragon."
