Episode 2: A Rainbow Sparkling in the Sky

Today marks a momentous occasion for the Fallers. While the Music Festival has begun on the Island, and the Museum of Arts and History are exhibiting a new exhibit, all of the Fallers have been summoned to the Pokemon School for a very important request by their Rotoms.

"Thank you all for coming," said Burnet, standing in the classroom with the children of Ash Ketchum's class. "As you know, we of Alola have faced many challenges here, with the Ultra Holes opening up. Even now, more Fallers appear day by day. That is why, with the recent acceptance of the Totem Pokemon and their declaration, we have decided to extend our request."

Sliding up the chalkboard, there was a huge button behind the chalkboard as part of the classroom slid open to reveal an elevator. "Please, if you would step forward and take the elevator down."

Once downstairs, the Fallers would find themselves in a huge Command Center, filled with highly advanced technology as a Chansey greeted them, with a new crop of Meltan from nowhere. "Chansey!" She exclaimed, pressing a button as a holographic display appeared. Someswhere in the middle of it, the Alola School Children had been clothed in Armor on the way down, and they saluted Lusamine who appeared on the display.

"Alola, Ultra Guardians. Alola, Fallers. I'm Commander Lusamine, of the Ultra Guardians. And I have a request for you all. I'd like for you all, no, I humbly request for you to join the Ultra Guardians in some capacity, to defend Alola and find a way home for you, as well as defend the Island from Ultra Beasts. We are facing a sudden International Crisis of unprecedented levels, and I wish to explain..."

"As you are well aware, Ultra Holes are opening up on a regular basis. We've sent probes through them, and they connect to almost seemingly random points of time and space. However, they seem to be in flux at any given moment. At any time and moment. And without warning, they can change their end point. This causes trouble for us to send you home, as one of the probes literally send itself into a Volcano." said Lusamine, showing the footage.

"We don't want you to end up into a volcano, which is why we need your help. Some of you are technologically sound, and we've seen your work. If you can help us on the field as well as the board, we can crack the puzzle of the Ultra Holes' unpredictable nature."

"Furthermore, there are International concerns as outside forces are coming into Alola. Already, movement from old defunct teams are starting to move. Concerns from a ally from the remnants of Team Magma has allied with the Aether Foundation, but it might not be enough. Courtney, formerly of Team Magma, has given the Aether Foundation enough information on a project they once sent to Cyrus of Team Plasma, but the data was incomplete. There will be more incidents in Alola as time passes by."

Lusamine straightened up. "Can I count on your help, Fallers? We will furnish you with whatever we can manage."

Cynthia was their contact at the Music Festival. While there wasn't any trouble expected there, she wanted to touch base with anyone. Other than that, its' a straight up mingle.

Their Contact would be there for one day, as the information that Lusamine was talking about was being placed in the museum. It was an old Alolan legend about the Rainbow Maiden. Legend has it, that a divine wind and rain gave birth to a child, and she danced across the skies painting a rainbow bridge of colors. But tragedy befell her, because of a jealous being.

The Rainbow Maiden was killed, and laid to rest, but a small Rowlet saw that she was gone, so he scratched away at the earth, and reunited her spirit with her body. And thus she danced again.

That evening, all the Fallers who had volunteered to assist the team were notified to assemble at the school's headquarters. Once assembled, they would be provided with uniforms, the sentai-esque battle uniforms fitted to each person as they traveled down into the Command Center much to each person's amusement and/or displeasure.

Looker stood there, along with Courtney who was dressed in a administrators uniform for the Aether Foundation, all in white. "Good to see everyone," said Looker, the trenchcoat suited INTERPOL agent said. "We've notified the Police, and have prepared stations all over the area for this. Briefing will begin shortly."

The screen flashed on as Lusamine appeared on screen. "Alola, Ultra Guardians. We've gotten our movement, and our intelligence from Courtney has yielded fruit. The Artifact, the Rainbow Wing has been targeted. As with a number of data tablets that have been moved to the Museum of History. Your job is to move them before the theft takes place."

Courtney turned to the Ultra Guardians. "Each of you will be assigned equipment for this mission. Specialized Pokeballs known as Beast Balls in case of Emergency, and the team leader will have a Dynamax Ball in case of emergencies. We're expecting opposition from these opponents."

Flashing a picture onto the screen, a group of henchmen dressed in Vanillite costumes were seen lurking around the building. "These men were seen around. According to Looker, they're a small time crook gang called Team Vanillite. Normally they wouldn't be much of a problem but..."

"But," said Looker, flashing another picture onto the screen as a picture of a man with a wild mustache with two Team Rocket members with orange and green hair meeting, "They were seen with these two members of Team Rocket. Which means they've moved into trouble for us. Which means, I've decided to call upon my most trusted help."

Suddenly the lights went out and bombastic music began to play as three people appeared, with a Wobbafett and Mareanie in the room. "When someone says 'we're the most trusted help around'..." started Jessie.

"Then let us tell you our names!" Finished James, throwing a rose into the air as literal kanji started scrolling to the music.

"A flowers face and a willows waist, makes the moon abashed and flowers wilt, a lone flower of evil blooming in this ephemeral world: Jessie!"

"An eye for opportunities, valiant and heroic in bearing, an apostle of evil retaliating against this agonizing world: James!" Exclaimed James, posing as well.

"Sharing the same fate, splitting responsibility, a star of evil whose coin shines even on close friends: Meowth!" Exclaimed Meowth!

The Rocket Gang, is on the scene!"

"Meowth that's right!"

"WOBBAFETT!" Finished Wobbafett!

"Mareanie!" chimed in Mareanie.

"Ah there you all are, I brought lunch," said Looker, holding up lunchboxes for them. "Everyone, these are your teammates. My most trusted associates."

"Everyone with us so far? I realize this is a lot..." said Lusamine, feeling lost.

The Museum of Natural History was heavily guarded that night, with people inside and outside of it, prepared to protect from invasion.

Inside, a team of Ultra Guardians were there, patrolling in the area, careful not to be seen as the "Rainbow Wing", a glowing shimmering feather was being prepared by Aether Foundation Workers with Courtney and Anabel inside the building.

"Quickly now, get into position and grab the Data Briefcases (3) and the Rainbow Wing when it's prepared. We'll move it outside.

Suddenly, the ceiling lit up with a literal brilliant tunnel of light as Anabel shielded her eyes. Sirens blared in the truck as Tony's voice came over the Rotoms. "All hands, we've got incoming Ultra Holes, prepare for an invasion!"

From the inside of the area, dropped Team Vanillite Members, dressed in their costumes flanked by Dr. Ferrara. "Well, well," he said with a laugh. "This is a surprise to see people waiting for us! Gentlemen!"

Comments to the Rainbow Wing is Prepared: 25 Collectively from All Taggers for Round 1

In Aether Foundation, a team was assembled. Lusamine was sitting at her desk with Wicke, Looker, Courtney, Anabel, Ash, Kukui, Tony, Faba and Burnet standing there.

"Damage to the area was extensive," said Wicke. "It's going to take months to repair."

"Population morale is down too," said Burnet. "Already there's people worried that the Fallers are going to bring more damage to the area."

"Not surprising, considering people are people," said Tony. "It's commonplace for people to lose trust in the unknown. Which is why I'm here as their representative."

"So what are we going to do now?" asked Ash. "We can't just give up. The Fallers need us, the people and Pokemon need us."

Suddenly, Wicke's radar beeped. "A Ultra Hole is opening up again!"

"Where?" demanded Lusamine, seconds before it blossomed open at the other end of the building. Immediately, Tony suited up and powered his weapons as Ash, Kukui and Courtney prepared their Pokemon.

From the opening, a woman stepped forward dressed in blue. She smiled disarmingly as she held up her hands at the hostile greeting "Hello," she said. "My name is Dr. Angela Mercy. I'm from Overwatch. I'm here to help."

In a unspecified location, far away from people's reach, a gathering was taking place.

"So in short, the test was a success," said a perky young voice giving her report. "There was extensive damage to the E-Model but more tests in other worlds should prove useful. The Rocket Grunts training has proven useful thanks to the cameras my little babies have captured."

Footage of She-Ra being defeated by the six Rocket Drones was displayed on a holographic screen.

"As such, I think we're good to go onto Phase 2. Which means more testing, and science!"

"Excellent work," said the Boss. "Keep up the good work... Entrapta."

Entrapta beamed happily as she gathered her things and scooted off on her robot friend, much to the displeasure of the watching people.

"Should we allow someone like her to head our tech?" came a annoyed voice in the circle of people. "You should really pick better people."

"Just because you defeated your nemesis doesn't mean you're qualified." retorted a different voice.

"Enough you two. You bicker like you're old friends."

"Look, just because we're from the same world,/He started it!" chorused the two seconds before yet another voice exclaimed, "Quiet! You people are giving me a headache." accompanied by the glow of ruby red eyes.

The two bickering voices silenced themselves as the first voice spoke. "We'll let the Fallers play their games for now. Team Rainbow Rocket's real goal is to continue to gather our allies, for the time comes. We have our data, and the time comes when our objectives will be filled."

The Boss stood, as with everyone around the room. "To Team Rainbow Rocket: Conquest of the Multiverse!"
