Pokemon School First Week!

It's the opening of the Pokemon School Year, and there's lots to do! Today, on the 26th of August, people are preparing for the first week of classes. The new curriculum has been prepared, with Sciences, Math, higher education, general education, adult learning, Battle Studies, Professional Studies and other fields of study available to the students.
With the newcomers, arrivals at the school have taken up residency at the school and have taken up teaching positions. You can find them, much to Ash Ketchum's surprise, delight, and otherwise shock as he knows many of their faces.
Brock Is interning his Pokemon Doctor studies and will be TA-ing this year with Pokemon Breeder studies under the supervision of Nurse Joy.
Misty has been asked to come and teach courses on Water Pokemon and Aquatic studies. She and Lana has been hard at work putting this together.
Olivia will be teaching Pokemon Religion of the various regions. This includes the creation stories, as well as the various smaller stories, Pokemon studies into the Reverse World and others.
Gary has arrived fashionably late to annoy Ash and teach a course on Battling and Pokemon Raising.
May has arrived to teach a course on Pokemon Contests, a new thing that might just be implemented later into the year for fun and excitement.
Burnet will be teaching the adult sciences and Professor-level courses.
Cynthia is taking a year off her Champion duties to teach this year, and will be teaching a course on Pokemon League Business and companies and how to get yourself instilled into the Pokemon world as a company.
And finally, Courtney the former Team Magma Admin will be teaching for the first time in this year, focusing on the main aspects of inter dimensional space and legendary Pokemon.
Of course, mind you, you are not required to take all of these courses, but taking some of these courses are highly recommended!
That being said, please mingle around. Classes start on Monday!
Mingle Threads!
Re: Mingle Threads!
Nadeshiko was in her new pretty sundress, head tilted to one side, posture otherwise perfect as she studied the offerings, seeming thoughtful. Well, there were no dance classes, that was both good and bad, because it meant she and her brother had no competition, but it also meant that they had less chance to learn new dances. What to do... hmmm....
"Does anyone know if there are times posted anywhere, so we don't take conflicting classes?" she asked whoever happened to be nearby. "I'd hate for two of mine to have an overlap."
Re: Mingle Threads!
"Here. See if you can figure this mess out."

Re: Mingle Threads!
For those who could see the charas - small kids under the age of 4, those with strong ties to magic or souls, other Chara Bearers - The angel would be visible, bouncing around excitedly, while the devil chara was sulking in the dark and lace egg dangling off the back of Utau's belt.
Re: Mingle Threads!
"I'm teaching everyone about Contests, and the performance arts of Hoenn. I have a great assistant that I met a while ago, she'll be here in a week."

Technically her egg hatch date passed, but have not yet made a log, so... >.<
You presume May knows this IC
Nope, informing you OOC why she doesn't have her pokemon with her yet

She was definitely interested in the contests from May and her new mysterious TA that was due there in a week. And her and Popplio were prepared to learn everything they could about the performances of the regions.
And it was here that they were also taking courses such as the Pokemon Religion from Olivia, to not be ignorant of Alola's traditions, Gary's battling class, some of Cynthia's business classes if she wanted to open a Pokemon Branch of You Show, and Brock for Pokemon First Aid. It was tough, but doable.
She was approachable at any point in the day.

"Ahaha...you don't really have much of an opinion, do you..."
"..."
Sorry, Sena. Eldritch ghost bugs just be like that. He chuckles sheepishly and glances over at the girl next to him.
"There's a lot to choose from, huh?"

Popplio warked at Shell, waving his flippers at em.

OTA
Ahh...this one looks interesting...
Auuudino?
[At the moment, Yuume and her partner seem to have their hands full- quite literally. Yuume occasionally hands a book to the small stack her Audino is carrying- not a terribly heavy one, given the pokemon seems fine- and otherwise gathers more in her arms. Her Rotomdex floats behind-]
Oi- zzt! There's a good pokebase one over there! You should take a look, watch games with me -zzt!
[Yuume's expression is quite dry.]
Perhaps another time, Rotom-san...
-Zzt! That's just code for never -zzt!!
[CLASS! (For NonClassmates/Teachers, assume it's the wrong room)]
[Yuume's class choices are as close to reflecting her university career as she can. There's a small exception- a few informational ones regarding pokemon so that she can raise and train Audino properly- but otherwise, she's loading up on the history as much as she can. History isn't a popular adult-learning choice though, so she's a little anxious about getting the right room...hmmm.]
Ahhh...is this the 'Ancien Histories' class..?
Re: OTA
[That sure is a butt sticking up from a pile of boxes, as a shapely capris-covered bum is sticking up from a pile of ancient relics as Cynthia is bent over a pile of items with a waterfall of golden hair framing it.]
You must be the new student that's enrolling, the first of many, [called out Cynthia from over her shoulder.] Grab a handful of artifacts and check something out.

Yuume does a fairly good job of going beet red, trying to stop being beet red, and averting gaze for a moment as she hides a cough.
By the time Cynthia is back up, she'll look normal again but for now she's left to do nothing but hope she doesn't sound nervous.] Ahh, yes, that's correct...
...Just grab? ...There's nothing too delicate then? [Some artifacts after all, erode just with the touch of oils from the skin- she'd rather not ruin anything.]

Mnhhh...
[Reira has a lot of new things. She has nice new clothes. She has a new little bag, with pencils and books. And, more importantly-]
Okie-dokie -zzrt! You made it! Classes don't start for a little bit though -zzrt, so you should use that time to get familiar..!
[Familiar...
Reira nods, even though she somewhat nervously holds onto the backpack strap. The hallways feel wide and spacious. The classrooms feel strange and unfamiliar. It is both like the school her brother had, and yet not, and she's rather visibly anxious.
Ooof.]
[What the- (SECRET BASE)]
[There was a room, with no one in it. She found it while exploring.
There was a button, behind the chalkboard. It was a little oversensitive, because when she poked it, it pressed down.
And then there was a hole and a suit and also, um.
...hm.
Where is this.
She's upside-down....]
Re: OTA
[He was grinning from ear to ear.] I'll teach you everything you need to know.

The dice were not in his favor for day one.
Peter really should have expected his first day to not go well. When in the history of ever had he ever had a good first day of school. Parkerluck was always out to strike and he should have been ready for it.
But he wasn't.
So when he got too close to the exeggutor to get a closer look his senses just barely started to prickle at the back of his neck before very suddenly that tail is moving and he's being slammed into wall, a vague Peter-shaped impression now in the wall.
"I think-I think I'm just gonna... sit this one out." He decides, now just laying on the floor.
"Spina?" Shelob poked him gently in the cheek to see if he was okay.
{ B. Lavender Death. }
Once he's mostly recovered from his embarrassment and bruises have all but fully healed, Peter's feeling a lot less like he wants to just go home in curl in his bed. That is until about mid-day and he's in the middle of one of his science classes. The moment he stepped into the room, he noted it smells different-very flowery and doesn't really give it a second thought aside from that.
It starts small-just itchy eyes and a scratchy throat which he ignores for the most part as he's much too focused on taking notes. But it gets worse and worse and finally he finds himself needing to scratch his neck and arms.
"What the heck?" He asks himself before pulling his sleeves up. "Hives?" Well, shit. He knew that smell was familiar. He coughs once rubs at his eyes.
"H-hey..." He raises his arm. "I uh-I think I might be having an allergic to the lavender, can I step outside?" He asks, his voice a tad scratchy.

Seems like someone had come running, since Jenny was indisposed, still in the throws of interrogating the thief Brodie. A man, seemingly frazzled looking despite his annoyed expression and frustrated appearance as he argued with the Rotom next to him, the Golurk fussing with a care basket.
"I am not fussing," said Tony to the Rotom.
"Yes you are," replied the Rotom in a distinctly feminine voice, similar that to Pepper Potts, but there was a Canadian Accent to the voice, instead of the usual woman's drawl. Could Rotom's have accents? "You're fussing Tony, you're just worried since you arrived here and was told that he's had a string of injuries since arrival."
"Is it my fault that the kid has been accident prone, has had multiple suit malfunctions and now I hear he's had an allergy attack--hey how're you doing sport?" asked Tony, holding out a reactin to Peter. "Careful, don't take it all at once."
no subject
"You shouldn't scratch." Dwayne, The Rotorock, Johnson tells him. Peter just rolls his eyes and makes his way to the nurses office as he'd been instructed, Shelob following close by. When he finally gets to the nurse's office his very negative and bitter mood seems to just completely dissipate as he just stands and stares in the door way.
No way.
Is he hallucinating or something? Because right now it looks like Tony Stark is in the nurses office and he sounds remarkably like Tony Stark too. But that can't be because Mr Stark is... well, Mr Stark is gone.
"M-Mr Stark?" He feels the familiar name falling out of his lips as he just stares, unsure if what he's seeing is real or not.

"She would like to know if you feel all right," Yotsuyu translated. She managed to catch on to what they meant when they vocalized, quickly enough. She sort of prided herself on that, in truth.
"Perhaps they have willowbark tea or some other painkiller at the nurse's? I could escort you there, if you need?" Yotsuyu was amused, but it was pained amusement--she was certain this poor boy would be the butt of others' jokes, later. She certainly didn't need to rub it in.

Super late to the party
The biggest question, though, are which classes to take. He noticed there weren't any music classes, which was kind of disappointing but nothing to be done about that. And while he wasn't so much interested in battling, Raising Pokemon might have been interesting.
He was mostly leaning towards the Water Pokemon class. As much as he was wary about being in the water himself (no matter how good of control he had over his powers, it was better not to risk anything), it would be nice to learn more about the little seal Pokemon that had taken to following him around.
yay
"Primarina! Sparkling Aria!" Proclaimed Lana.
Primarina started to sing, letting loose a melodious song as her voice lifted into the air as the temperature changed, a sparkling bubble of water forming. "Mmm... not fast enough," she said thoughtfully as Primarina held the notes for a few more seconds before letting the bubble drop.
Lana sighed before folding her arms, noticing Bridge across the way. "Oh hello," she said, noticing that he had a Pokemon as well.

Kaiba hated the idea. He'd tested out of high school for two reasons: one, to run his company, and two, to escape the company of fellow high schoolers. But there were many factors to consider in this situation, and it was best for him if he at least appeared cooperative. He was found in all science and business courses, seated in the back and scribbling notes as fast as his hand allowed.
lunch
At lunch he sat alone...well, not quite alone. He allowed his Pokémon out of their balls to eat as long as they behaved themselves, and for the most part they did. Goomy sat on his lap, Kisara the Pikachu on his shoulder, and Happiny on the bench beside him, chirping at passersby. He kept hold of her...as the baby, she had a tendency to wander off.
study time
Already he had a sizable pile of homework. Not that he was averse to hard work, but...oh, it was going to be a long week. The library was too busy, so he could be found sprawled out on the grass with his books. He'd started composing an essay, only to sneeze on the paper. Whoops.
Class
Pokemon Science seemed simple on the outset -- battling types, 18 different types, abilities, but then you started getting into the physics of powers in the latter half of the course, how psychic types and ghost types worked, and there was talk about some nitty gritty thing called IV Training that only the most militant trainers ever subjected their Pokemon to for the most advanced raising. It was enough to make her head spin.
So when she saw Kaiba, she smiled during a break, brushing a weary look from her face. "How are you holding up?"
