A 4thFaller Event!

It seems everything is peaceful in the four worlds at the time being. Things have calmed relatively down since the incident last month when Glomgold and his minions attacked Alola and Aether was lost to another world.

And then suddenly, the skies inverted. Going a brilliant violet color for a brief moment as the world’s colors turned inside out. There was a flash of familiarity from Ash as he looked up at the sound of a familiar cry as from the depths of the hole left behind where Aether once stood, a huge form erupted.

“What’s that?” asked Lana, leaning over the railing of the school as a massive form circled overhead.

“Giratina!” Exclaimed Ash, a pit opening up in his stomach at the sight of the legendary Pokemon. Not again…

With a massive roar, the legendary Pokemon slammed down into the courtyard of the school as students scattered and Pokemon tensed up for battle as the legendary roared. The air around it shimmered as the light of the Distortion World flashed around them as members of the assembled defense force that were stationed at the school’s portal summoned their Pokemon.

In a shimmering flash, I.Z.U. appeared next to the Ultra Guardians. “Warning,” she said, in her placid if slightly alarmed tone. “The presence of Giratina has severely compromised the structure of the dimensional fabric around Alola.”

“Meaning what?” asked Kiawe, tense and ready for battle as Giratina started pacing around in a circle.

“Giratina’s presence will cause people to slip through the boundaries of time and space at an alarming uncontrollable rate.” replied I.Z.U. “The chance of us controlling the rate of Falling is 0.0000001% until Giratina is returned to the Distortion World. Chances of Capture, are even less than that.”

“No way…” said Sophocles. “So what do we do now?”

“Hey guys?” said Mallow as Giratina started to hunker down like an oversized cat. “Is it me… or is Giratina…”

“About to take a nap…” finished Ash as Giratina started to sleep soundly in the courtyard, unconcerned with the Pokemon who were still tense up by its presence.

I.Z.U. tilted her head. “It seems it has gone into some sort of hibernation. Rotom-dex, please monitor it from here. I will return to the base and begin preparations to receive the new arrivals.” With that, she vanished.

Rotom sighed. “Sure, leave me to do all the hard work-roto.”

Ash rubbed his head with a sigh. “Well, I guess…? School’s still on! Even with a sleeping legendary Pokemon in our yard! But we should probably get a reception going for everyone who’s going to start appearing. Let’s go tell the town that more people are going to appear!”

With this in mind, the 4th wall has begun for the next two weeks! What brave fun will our visitors get up to today?


Welcome to the Fallers RP 4th Wall! Arriving in the game, you get to experience life in the Pokemon Anime Universe in an Alternate Spinoff of the Alola Region Arc, based on the Ultra Sun and Moon Video Game storyline. Come in, rest a little, relax. Have some malasada. Kick up your feet. We have lots to do.


Our Ground Rules as Follows:

1. Everyone gets a Pokemon for any battle happy moments. The only Pokemon who are not on the table are actual mythicals and legendaries unless said character has a in character reason to possess them in their own canon.
2. Remember this is a PG setting with PG setting rules
3. Visitors are allowed to make top levels in this post and the Friday Event post as well as post open threads for the duration of the 4th wall
4. Duplicates are certainly allowed
5. Please refrain from destroying in-game property, this setting doesn’t allow for instant rebuilding of locations.
6. Visitors may always join our Discord for chatting with the cast during this event. A link will be active for the duration of the event and you may ask an active player for a link at any time.
7. In game NPCs can be available for questions at any time but please keep in mind that the head mod is only one person and can only do so many tags at any given time. If you haven’t received a tag yet, it is because there is a queue.
8. And as always remember to be Excellent to One Another

"Oh aren't you the cutest ever! Yes you are you little fire doggo yes you are!" Exclaimed Sunset, ruffling the fur of the Growlithe that had decided that Sunset was friend shaped.

She had asked a few questions, (hi yes, where am I, how do I go home) and decided since she was given a free island vacation for a few days till the big legendary on the hill decided to go home, she would make the most of it.

At least she could call the girls on her phone. So...

"You are coming home with me," said SUnset, rubbing Growlithe on the nose who yipped happily. "Yes you are! Who's a good doggo who grows into a fire-woofer?"

You'll hear Chelsea before you see her, though the fact that she's running around in a panic makes seeing her pretty easy, too. The Spheal with her just rolls around on the ground, spacily oblivious to the world around it.

"I mean, sure, the weather's nicer in this one, but... Hey!" She flags down the nearest person. "Tell me you all got feelings!"

Boy there sure are a lot of new people. Giratina really did a number on the dimensional walls.

At the call from the girl, Mallow looked up and waved. "Alola! Hmm? Feelings? Yes, yes we do. Hi, welcome to the Alola Region! My name's Mallow, this is Tsareena."

Tsareena flipped her long hair in greeting.

"How can we help? I'm an Ultra Guardian in these parts, so I've been asked to help newcomers."

[If the young man in black seemed on edge, there was probably a good reason for that; a temporary displacement in another world sounded simply too easy, and he didn't quite trust it. An Absol circled around his feet, sticking very close to her trainer and surveying the area. She didn't sound too uneasy that he could tell, so that was a reassuring enough sign. The ambient noises were too lively for this world to lack feeling, and the air wasn't stagnant.]

[Still...this was just leaving him uneasy, and Ignis adjusted mirrored sunglasses with a small sigh.]

[There's a roar from overhead as a shimmering glowing hole in the skies opened up. From it, a large white lion charged out and circled around, circling around Ignis before coming to a landing position as a small female form in decorative pink armor landed.]

Thank you for the ride, Solgaleo!

[she said, patting the large, clearly legendary Pokemon as she reached into her pouch and pulled out some candy to which the large lion nommed before flying off. The girl reached to her belt and tugged the corner of it, and the armor retracted into the belt with a flash of light before she tugged a hat from her pack. Turning around, she let out her Pokemon from a ball: a snow white Vulpix.]

Oh hello! I didn't see you there. I hope I didn't startle you. Solgaleo was bringing me home from another world. My name's Lillie.

So after seeing Chelsea (who knows, maybe this is happening right in the middle of their conversation-), Sena is a little more composed this time.

[For the third time, a woman with cat ears and tail pulled apart a....whatever that small creature was and the Clefairy that was poking insistently at it in curiosity. She leaned over and picked up the round little creature, holding it out of reach as she looked around.]

[Then, inexplicably, looked at the sky with a muttered, 'again, really?' Much to the confusion of the Clefairy at her feet, and the indifference of the creature of grandest divinity in her arms.]

[Oh, well. If it was only temporary, then it was only temporary. Not much she could do about that, and if the time discrepancy between shards still applied then hopefully no one would even know she was gone.]

Trubbish bobbled around a little, and pointed towards the building. "Did you want to go in there? I don't think they allow trash to go inside restaurants."

The Trubbish wilted a little, a growl echoing from deep inside. Alisaie sighed. "Hold on."

Minutes later, she returned with malasada and offered one to the Trubbish. "I guess I have a new pet," she remarked as the Trubbish munched on the food. "What to call you? I've used Angelo already... how about... Zell?"

Trubbish bobbled happily. "All right, Zell it is! C'mon Zell, let's go find someone we know. Hopefully the Warrior is here."

[A few minutes later, three individuals came out of the restaurant as well.] A Clefairy and a creature of purest wriggling divinity each with half a malasada, and the renowned Warrior of Light/Darkness leading them along.]

[...The latter of which froze at the sight of Alisaie, blinking a couple times with a malasada stuffed in her own mouth. The absolute picture of elegance and grace.]

[(At least this settled whether or not she'd get in trouble for disappearing off the First without warning.)]

[Again, the world saw fit to throw him for a loop again and he couldn't even say it was something that he had brought upon himself. Not like before but he couldn't let it keep him off-kilter for long. It'd be unbecoming for a Knight of the Round to remain frozen in the face of strange phenomena that he was, slowly but surely, getting used to.

So here he is, a Ralts following dutifully at his heels, simply wandering about. Though when he spots another person, he quietly considers for a bit before approaching them.]

Everyone who would scan her would ping "No Data" and attempts at capture would bounce right off her. Even still, she would still cheerfully reply back with embarrassment that she was a Equestrian.

Still, Twilight was still cheerfully broiling over with internal panic at being whisked to another world so soon after the season 9 incident. "Oh boy, I hope everyone's all right back home. I'll have to contact everyone when I get home..."

She keeps missing Sunset by like, five minutes too for the first day.

However, soon, she obtains a "pet" of her own: a adorably happy and hangry Morpeko.

Sena is...not in a good place right now, honestly.

He'd come back from Duckburg on hearing the news, but on actually seeing the giant beast sleeping in the schoolyard, he's gone...quiet. His usual anxious expression is on his face, but it's actually tinged with something for once, something almost like...solemness, or perhaps fear? Perhaps a sense of muted awe. He even has Vee out with him, and the usually jumpy Pokemon isn't leaping around him or even trying to sneak cuddles. Instead, she's on his lap while he pets her porcupine-quill fur, clearly trying to soothe himself.

"Mn...Is it really...just here to hibernate...? But why..."

"It's been a while since I saw him," remarked Ash, walking up next to Sena, hands behind his head in a relaxed pose. "He kind of seems like he's gotten smaller since I've last seen him... or maybe I've just grown an inch or two since Sinnoh!"

The comment was just so... so casual, it probably threw Sena for a loop.

[Michael's wandering around, calling out for...something. It's clearly not the Liepard or Haunter following him around; they both seem just as expectant, as if whatever he's trying to call might just drop out of the sky.]

Giratina has not taken a life at this point, nor does he seem to be inclined to at any moment in time. [stated a voice as a Pokemon swooped into view: a large totem-like pokemon with a huge golden crest as a digital form materialized and gave a short bow.

A short Japanese woman stood there, dressed in a green and white uniform as she said,] Hello, I have been summoned by your curious inquiry to the guardian deity of the Kalos region and Tapu Koko's interest in you. I am I.Z.U. I will act as translator for this encounter.

[She gestured as a tour guide would to the Pokemon nearby who studied Michael with a keen eye, deity to deity.] This is Tapu Koko, the Guardian Deity of Melemele Island. He welcomes you to this land.

There is a man sitting quite calmly on the beach.

He's adept at avoiding others if he chooses to- in particular he avoids those he superficially resembles...and it is Very superficial. As if magic is the source of resemblance, and not his actual appearance, one cannot help but see a bit of him in someone else.

But that's not what's important.

The man wears the garb of someone from times long past, a robe pale and firmly tied around himself. Sandals and bandages, either for injury or protection. But there is more- a coat of brilliant scarlet for one, blowing gently in the wind. A lengthy staff, like a stick, to the side.

And hair as light as silver, long enough to be loosely tied back behind him in a ponytail.

The man is young- but hardly so young that he couldn't have possibly started a family of his own. (And he hasn't, but he could have, he has thought occasionally. He could have, if he'd made a few different choices) But there is a strange age to his face, and his eyes are set upon a thick and inky 'puddle' across from him on the ground.

From which can be seen a dragon's head, with eyes of red.

"It's been so long, huh..." The man smiles, and sadly. And then, without even turning around.

"I know you're there..." ... "...Don't make me Name you, now..."

Go on. Reveal yourself, whoever you are.

There was something achingly familiar about this man. Painfully, almost, an old pain in part of Zahra's three-piece heart that by all rights shouldn't have any scar tissue in the first place. That twinge echoed in the chambers of their soul the moment they spotted him, and only grew as they noticed his resemblance to Katsuya.

So they followed him to this beach, staring out into the ocean until he called them. Zahra steps into his peripheral vision. "I'm curious what you would name me, honestly. Or if it would even stick. It would answer quite a few existential questions I have about myself too."

[As always, Emmeryn gets her Calm And Responsible Adult face on real fast, but she does need a minute or two to catch up: the other time she got hauled off into another dimension, personal circumstances were, ahem, extenuating, so forgive her if the shock has largely retained its freshness. Also, Giratina is here?? Historically, that's gone poorly for all involved, and while it seems as though the situation is under control, that takes a little longer to settle with.

Regardless, with the exposition out of the way, Emmeryn is left to adjust accordingly, get her ducks in a row, and carry on—and so we get the sight of her, all well-poised elegance as usual even despite the circumstances, with a small menagerie of Pokémon stood in front of her as she takes a headcount. One, two, three, four, five. ...Five?]

Duma, open your mouth.

[The Salamence in front of her does so without complaint. Finding only teeth in there doesn't seem to placate her.]

Thank you. [He closes it, and she frowns, looking towards and then around the rest of her team, who don't seem to have any more answers than she does.] Oh, dear...

[Alternatively, you might spot a Phione floating about on its lonesome, all wide-eyed and giddy at the newness of its surroundings. Too young to know caution nor manners, it hovers in the general vicinity of Giratina and gleefully spits bubbles at it.

Not unpredictably, said Phione is staying held in Emmeryn's arms once they reunite, and will not be allowed further wandering.]
