Episode 5: Hot and Cold Flex Off!

Today, the Class is off to the Hot Springs! Until Monday, they’ll be on a school trip to Mount Lanakila, where they will spend two days and two nights at the mountain. Here, the school will learn about the native Snow Pokemon. However…

Kukui frowned in worry at the Mountain which was… suspiciously barren of snow in this area. The ground was green with grass, and it was swelteringly hot. “Sorry everyone! It seems like we’ve got unseasonable weather!” Exclaimed Kukui. “Still, there’s no worry here! Unload your things, get settled in and we’ll still tour the Ice Caves at 2pm! Until then, try and relax. Maybe if you want a nice Heatwave, try out the hot springs!”

No worries everyone, there's plenty to see. Lots of Pokemon still. Though, the people at the Hot Springs could need your help, getting the springs back to working order. The Owner could use people with technical help to look at the pipes, people with strong backs to get the springs in order and at 2pm everyone will go to the caves unless you're helping the Owner.

Ohh, there's an arrogance about this man that Dio definitely doesn't mind, as it's notably different from the empty pride the boys on the street would try to hold themselves with to make themselves feel older. It's one thing to bluff, but when a man rides in on a wholeass dragon - and a Dragon dragon, not just a Dragon Type - and declares himself the star of the show, there's a certain respect one must relinquish.

It's enough to pull a smirk upon Dio's own lips. "Fair that," he concedes as he finally decides the water isn't unbearably hot. It's gotten chilly out now that the volcano has been dealt with. "Dio Brando. I haven't been here long; only about a week ago did I 'fall'..."

He looks Kaiba up and down and squints. "Your name sounds familiar, are you sure we haven't... Ah, no, you're Yuume's relative, she said..."

"...well, I reluctantly concede that there are worse places to land," he mutters, leaning back and stretching his arms over the rocks behind him. It's cooler here, so he really appreciates the heat.

He's just about relaxed again when that last statement catches his attention.

"...oh, so now she's publicly claiming me?" He snorts. "Our relationship is...complicated, we're from radically different points in time. But she works hard with all that's on her plate."

With the tone in his voice, he seems to be proud of her.

"She had said it kind of strangely..." he murmurs, thinking back to it now. It makes sense that she had presented the notion so awkwardly, what with them having the sort of history they do.

But Yuume isn't here right now, so enough about her. "Where did you come from, then? It's 1880 England where I'm from, so much of the environment and many of the facilities here are... very odd to me."
