Episode 5: Hot and Cold Flex Off!

Today, the Class is off to the Hot Springs! Until Monday, they’ll be on a school trip to Mount Lanakila, where they will spend two days and two nights at the mountain. Here, the school will learn about the native Snow Pokemon. However…

Kukui frowned in worry at the Mountain which was… suspiciously barren of snow in this area. The ground was green with grass, and it was swelteringly hot. “Sorry everyone! It seems like we’ve got unseasonable weather!” Exclaimed Kukui. “Still, there’s no worry here! Unload your things, get settled in and we’ll still tour the Ice Caves at 2pm! Until then, try and relax. Maybe if you want a nice Heatwave, try out the hot springs!”

No worries everyone, there's plenty to see. Lots of Pokemon still. Though, the people at the Hot Springs could need your help, getting the springs back to working order. The Owner could use people with technical help to look at the pipes, people with strong backs to get the springs in order and at 2pm everyone will go to the caves unless you're helping the Owner.

"Yeah, let's catch up. There's got to be enough people scouting around to figure out what's going on." said Ash, standing up and dusting off his pants. "Thanks for helping out Dawn. Honestly, I should have expected more craziness."

"Hey, don't sweat it!" Dawn said. "Besides, we got a lot of people here, so we can figure things out faster, now!" She patted her Mamoswine as she turned to it. "Keep it cool in here, okay?"

"I'm just shocked everything went so crazy! And here I was planning on going back to Pallet Town before this all happened..." Ash counted on his fingers. "Six months ago!"

"Six months?!" Dawn said, shocked. "Wow, all of this because of everything that's gone on...!"

Wes is used to the desert heat, so the temperature doesn't bother him so much. What does bother him is that these Pokemon were suffering because of the heat he was so familiar with. Thankfully he still has memories of cooling down Umbreon and Espeon in Orre, so he's got some rags to help cool other Pokemon off.

It's hard not to hear Dawn's surprise in the echo of the cave, so Wes looks up from where he was helping a Snorunt towards the two trainers. After making sure the Snorunt was cool, he stood up and approached them both.
