There's been signs leading up to the announcement and the four islands have been hard at work preparing for such an event. The four islands have been preparing their ferry's for such an occasion all week, but now, it's finally here! The Alola Famers Harvest Festival has begun!

From the Week of the 10th to the 15th, the Farmers Harvest Festival will be available. This means that not only the people of Alola will be celebrating the turn of the season with a huge All-Four Island Farmers Market in the four major town ports, but also there will be music, dancing, and all kinds of adventure just waiting to be found.

But there has also been a surprising upswing in sightings of special Pokemon in the area.

Pokemon from Galar, Alcremie in all of its various forms have been appearing across the islands, drawn by the food and fun. However, some of them are up to mischief and can be found in various spots of the island, stealing food and/or possibly making trouble.

It's up to you to find and deal with these Alcremie as you see fit. But be careful, one of them might have a surprise in store for those unaware!

Towards the end of the week, there will be a surprise appearance from a famous chef duo, one from the Sinnoh Region's famous Seven Stars Restaurant!

Roman and Kylie will be offering a chance to cook a full 7 Course Meal for anyone who can defeat them in battle, for them and their party. Of course, the opportunity is open to everyone involved. All you have to do -- is defeat their champion. Who is their champion? Well, we'll just have to see about that!

It was all pretty standard until the “your new Champion” came out of Ash’s mouth and Trip choked on his orange juice.

“GAH!”

That stung! But not as bad as Ash making it up there before he did...

Once he was done, Ash jumped off the stage and headed over to mingle with the crowd when he noticed Trip choking on his orange juice. "Trip, you okay?"

He clamped his hand over his mouth and nose because he didn’t want to look gross, but gahhh.

“It burns!”

He couldn’t really help that pitiful complaint, he accidentally inhaled a bit of fruit juice.

“More importantly, you’re already Champion?! When, how, where?!”

He wanted to catch up and not be left behind!

"Here, in Alola." said Ash, gesturing at, well, everything. "I won the Alola League on the inauguration League and became it's Champion this year. I thought the news would have gotten out by now?"

"I... keep up with those, so I don't think..."

He frowned, stared off into the distance for a moment, then, said, "Is it possible to spend a really long time in an Ultra Hole, but have it feel like a short moment? Or maybe it moved me across time?"

But maybe it's something a little simpler than that!

"... wait, was this before or after I got here?"

If it was after, he could've just been too busy figuring things out here in Alola to have kept up! Missing a whole league sounds really Farfetch'd, but. Maybe???

"Before you got here," replied Ash. "You just missed the Pokemon League by a couple of months," replied Ash.

"I thought you would have been here, considering its new and all. Maybe it moved you across time?"

"That is weird," Trip said, brows furrowing. "... well, at least it wasn't too far across?"

He stared at Ash for a long moment, turned to face him properly, stepping closer.

He's still wearing shoes with a bit of lift to them to look taller, but he'd be (just a bit) shorter than him without...

Just a inch or two taller. He's clearly grown since Kalos but aaaaaah. Those shoes of his doesn't do much for him.

"It wasn't, no. But then I spent a year in Kalos." said Ash, shrugging. "And then I spent all this time in Alola."

So, with those shoes, they seem about the same height now! Which means Ash is even taller than before, which definitely mean he's grown since then.

"So, I've missed a year at least, possibly more. Not a very exciting stretch of time to travel, but it's better than being flung to an unfamiliar time with no way back..."

Trip mentally made a note to himself to get even higher shoes. Or hope for a growth spurt.

But these concerns were quickly replaced with another, more immediate one. After a long moment, he spoke, a bit slowly, as if testing unfamiliar words:

"If you're Champion now, then, that makes you A-...Ash, sir?"

An immediately uncomfortable look, his pride wounded! That's a horribly awkward thing to have to call someone who was, until not too long ago in his memory, a rival in the Unova league!! And it was very strange to call someone who was close in age—no, slightly older? How much older? Gahhhh!

"I don't feel like a sir," admitted Ash. "Everyone just calls me Ash anyhow! C'mon Trip, I haven't changed. I mean, it's a title sure, but only for events do I ever use it."

He grinned easily. "You can call me just Ash it's not a big deal."

Ash was really humble, wasn't he? He felt both relieved Ash didn't demand to be addressed formally and a little embarrassed.

"It was a shock at first, but... you deserve it."

He wouldn't have handled it without getting full of himself, if he had won the way he had been back in Unova.

"Guess I've got a lot of catching up to before we battle again."
