Alola Farmers Harvest Festival!

There's been signs leading up to the announcement and the four islands have been hard at work preparing for such an event. The four islands have been preparing their ferry's for such an occasion all week, but now, it's finally here! The Alola Famers Harvest Festival has begun!

From the Week of the 10th to the 15th, the Farmers Harvest Festival will be available. This means that not only the people of Alola will be celebrating the turn of the season with a huge All-Four Island Farmers Market in the four major town ports, but also there will be music, dancing, and all kinds of adventure just waiting to be found.

But there has also been a surprising upswing in sightings of special Pokemon in the area.

Pokemon from Galar, Alcremie in all of its various forms have been appearing across the islands, drawn by the food and fun. However, some of them are up to mischief and can be found in various spots of the island, stealing food and/or possibly making trouble.

It's up to you to find and deal with these Alcremie as you see fit. But be careful, one of them might have a surprise in store for those unaware!

Towards the end of the week, there will be a surprise appearance from a famous chef duo, one from the Sinnoh Region's famous Seven Stars Restaurant!

Roman and Kylie will be offering a chance to cook a full 7 Course Meal for anyone who can defeat them in battle, for them and their party. Of course, the opportunity is open to everyone involved. All you have to do -- is defeat their champion. Who is their champion? Well, we'll just have to see about that!

"Uh..."

For once, Tony is actually dumbfounded as he stares for half a moment before walking over and crouching down. "Kid, that's... really, not how you battle. You can't battle with an egg, or force it to hatch like that."

"Golurk," agreed Golurk as it reached down and patted Reira on the head and then the Egg. "Lurk, Gol."

"See? Tiny agrees with me."

"Nothing else worked though," she mutters, crouching down and hunkering in place herself instead of moving. "I walked everywhere, and held it close, like everyone said. And they're still an egg..."

There is a pause, and the empath squints at Tiny. "....you're not small..."

"Maybe it's not yet time to come on out," replied Tony. "Did you bring it into the Nurse to get it checked up on? I heard Pokemon sometimes take a long time to hatch."

"Gorlurk," replied Tiny, seemingly grinning at that.

"Tiny likes the name though," replied Tony.

Reira just frowns and stares. But also no, she did not take them for a check up, and that's what the silence is for.

"...mnh..." She stares at Tiny. "....I guess that's true."

Well that's an odd way to put it.

"We should probably bring it in for a check up then," said Tony, gesturing. "C'mon kid, let's bring it to the Nurse's station.

He pointed at the Nurse Joy who was tending to people and Pokemon over yonder.

"Mnhhh..." Oh okay then fine. Reira will scoop up her egg, even if she's pouting all the while that she does it.

Shame this egg won't be hatching for a good number of weeks.

"Don't worry too much if it isn't close to hatching. Pokemon seem to appreciate the attention even when they're not hatched," said Tony.

"How do we know..?" If there is a way to know other than quiet feelings from an egg, she would like to know. Because right now it feels like a whole lotta Sleeping.

"Intuition. I mean, I'm not good at this myself, but everyone here says taking care of an egg is a experience." said Tony.

Reira just wrinkles her nose at that, holding the egg that is assuredly the size of her own head close and shakes in the way one does when they're both small and absolutely not believing a word they're being told.

But at least she's 'listening', sort of right?

Heading over to the stand, Tony chatted with the Joy who then turned to Reira and asked, "How long have you had the egg? Can I run a few examinations?"

"Ummmm..." The egg is handed over without protest.

"...Since I fell."

"That's... a long time," said Joy, worried. "We'll have to run a full workup to make sure its healthy."

"It means a checkup, kid," replied Tony. "To see if the Pokemon is healthy inside the egg."

The egg at least is definitely healthy. Just.
