Pokemon School First Week!

It's the opening of the Pokemon School Year, and there's lots to do! Today, on the 26th of August, people are preparing for the first week of classes. The new curriculum has been prepared, with Sciences, Math, higher education, general education, adult learning, Battle Studies, Professional Studies and other fields of study available to the students.
With the newcomers, arrivals at the school have taken up residency at the school and have taken up teaching positions. You can find them, much to Ash Ketchum's surprise, delight, and otherwise shock as he knows many of their faces.
Brock Is interning his Pokemon Doctor studies and will be TA-ing this year with Pokemon Breeder studies under the supervision of Nurse Joy.
Misty has been asked to come and teach courses on Water Pokemon and Aquatic studies. She and Lana has been hard at work putting this together.
Olivia will be teaching Pokemon Religion of the various regions. This includes the creation stories, as well as the various smaller stories, Pokemon studies into the Reverse World and others.
Gary has arrived fashionably late to annoy Ash and teach a course on Battling and Pokemon Raising.
May has arrived to teach a course on Pokemon Contests, a new thing that might just be implemented later into the year for fun and excitement.
Burnet will be teaching the adult sciences and Professor-level courses.
Cynthia is taking a year off her Champion duties to teach this year, and will be teaching a course on Pokemon League Business and companies and how to get yourself instilled into the Pokemon world as a company.
And finally, Courtney the former Team Magma Admin will be teaching for the first time in this year, focusing on the main aspects of inter dimensional space and legendary Pokemon.
Of course, mind you, you are not required to take all of these courses, but taking some of these courses are highly recommended!
That being said, please mingle around. Classes start on Monday!
who's the latest?
She is, of course, one of Burnet's students, but Yotsuyu has approached Misty in regards to taking a class on Water Pokemon as well. Her Oshawott was first, after all, and while she intends to take as much care of her Cubone, there's still a bit of curiosity as to what Gosetsu can do. For now, she's making certain her charges will be somewhat quiet during class, offering them both a few Berries and small toys to amuse themselves with.]
I know this is less entertaining for you, but if you will be as quiet as you can, there will be treats later. [Yotsuyu was usually good on her promises, as these things went.]
Not late at all, I'm still late
As you can see here, the Squirtles of Kanto prefer a much more cooler temperature, with their migratory patterns circling around the oceans and rivers and back into the lakes before returning home. But the Pokemon of Unova are interesting. Lately they were all centered in the region, none straying outside of their region until recent introduction of outside Pokemon became a factor.
Many Pokemon began to migrate outside of the Unova Region, due to it's large geographical area. Unova is a region that consists of several regions in one geographical zone, and there is a arid desert climate to the southwest of the region, which is inhospitable to Pokemon, or at least was. Until 15 years ago, the Orre Region was a barren wasteland, where Pokemon and Humans barely scraped by in desolate competition, with little to no wild Pokemon. Now, it's a thriving region, with more Pokemon returning to its soil day by day. This includes a higher population of Water Pokemon, such as the native regions Oshawott.

I wonder. Is that where you came from?
[He just looked up at her, patted her leg, and murmured softly,] "Oshawott!"

"I have an Oshawott as a companion," Yotsuyu began. "Do you think he may have come from that region? Is that where they are common, or is there another region where they might have migrated from?"
Her curiosity was just too great for her not to ask.
