A 4thFaller Event!

It seems everything is peaceful in the four worlds at the time being. Things have calmed relatively down since the incident last month when Glomgold and his minions attacked Alola and Aether was lost to another world.

And then suddenly, the skies inverted. Going a brilliant violet color for a brief moment as the world’s colors turned inside out. There was a flash of familiarity from Ash as he looked up at the sound of a familiar cry as from the depths of the hole left behind where Aether once stood, a huge form erupted.

“What’s that?” asked Lana, leaning over the railing of the school as a massive form circled overhead.

“Giratina!” Exclaimed Ash, a pit opening up in his stomach at the sight of the legendary Pokemon. Not again…

With a massive roar, the legendary Pokemon slammed down into the courtyard of the school as students scattered and Pokemon tensed up for battle as the legendary roared. The air around it shimmered as the light of the Distortion World flashed around them as members of the assembled defense force that were stationed at the school’s portal summoned their Pokemon.

In a shimmering flash, I.Z.U. appeared next to the Ultra Guardians. “Warning,” she said, in her placid if slightly alarmed tone. “The presence of Giratina has severely compromised the structure of the dimensional fabric around Alola.”

“Meaning what?” asked Kiawe, tense and ready for battle as Giratina started pacing around in a circle.

“Giratina’s presence will cause people to slip through the boundaries of time and space at an alarming uncontrollable rate.” replied I.Z.U. “The chance of us controlling the rate of Falling is 0.0000001% until Giratina is returned to the Distortion World. Chances of Capture, are even less than that.”

“No way…” said Sophocles. “So what do we do now?”

“Hey guys?” said Mallow as Giratina started to hunker down like an oversized cat. “Is it me… or is Giratina…”

“About to take a nap…” finished Ash as Giratina started to sleep soundly in the courtyard, unconcerned with the Pokemon who were still tense up by its presence.

I.Z.U. tilted her head. “It seems it has gone into some sort of hibernation. Rotom-dex, please monitor it from here. I will return to the base and begin preparations to receive the new arrivals.” With that, she vanished.

Rotom sighed. “Sure, leave me to do all the hard work-roto.”

Ash rubbed his head with a sigh. “Well, I guess…? School’s still on! Even with a sleeping legendary Pokemon in our yard! But we should probably get a reception going for everyone who’s going to start appearing. Let’s go tell the town that more people are going to appear!”

With this in mind, the 4th wall has begun for the next two weeks! What brave fun will our visitors get up to today?


Welcome to the Fallers RP 4th Wall! Arriving in the game, you get to experience life in the Pokemon Anime Universe in an Alternate Spinoff of the Alola Region Arc, based on the Ultra Sun and Moon Video Game storyline. Come in, rest a little, relax. Have some malasada. Kick up your feet. We have lots to do.


Our Ground Rules as Follows:

1. Everyone gets a Pokemon for any battle happy moments. The only Pokemon who are not on the table are actual mythicals and legendaries unless said character has a in character reason to possess them in their own canon.
2. Remember this is a PG setting with PG setting rules
3. Visitors are allowed to make top levels in this post and the Friday Event post as well as post open threads for the duration of the 4th wall
4. Duplicates are certainly allowed
5. Please refrain from destroying in-game property, this setting doesn’t allow for instant rebuilding of locations.
6. Visitors may always join our Discord for chatting with the cast during this event. A link will be active for the duration of the event and you may ask an active player for a link at any time.
7. In game NPCs can be available for questions at any time but please keep in mind that the head mod is only one person and can only do so many tags at any given time. If you haven’t received a tag yet, it is because there is a queue.
8. And as always remember to be Excellent to One Another

Emmeryn | Fire Emblem: Awakening (Azume CRAU)

[As always, Emmeryn gets her Calm And Responsible Adult face on real fast, but she does need a minute or two to catch up: the other time she got hauled off into another dimension, personal circumstances were, ahem, extenuating, so forgive her if the shock has largely retained its freshness. Also, Giratina is here?? Historically, that's gone poorly for all involved, and while it seems as though the situation is under control, that takes a little longer to settle with.

Regardless, with the exposition out of the way, Emmeryn is left to adjust accordingly, get her ducks in a row, and carry on—and so we get the sight of her, all well-poised elegance as usual even despite the circumstances, with a small menagerie of Pokémon stood in front of her as she takes a headcount. One, two, three, four, five. ...Five?]

Duma, open your mouth.

[The Salamence in front of her does so without complaint. Finding only teeth in there doesn't seem to placate her.]

Thank you. [He closes it, and she frowns, looking towards and then around the rest of her team, who don't seem to have any more answers than she does.] Oh, dear...

[Alternatively, you might spot a Phione floating about on its lonesome, all wide-eyed and giddy at the newness of its surroundings. Too young to know caution nor manners, it hovers in the general vicinity of Giratina and gleefully spits bubbles at it.

Not unpredictably, said Phione is staying held in Emmeryn's arms once they reunite, and will not be allowed further wandering.]

Hey, Emm! You're here too?

[Says Chelsea, with Lemonade shaking a little behind her.]

This place get all of us? Sena says he's been here for ages.

[By now, Sena has had the chance to catch Emmeryn up to speed, and Mila has returned and contented themselves half-napping in Emmeryn's arms. While she brightens, Mila coos cheerfully in Chelsea's direction.]

Oh, Chelsea! My, it's always so lovely to see you all, but I have to say, these are terribly unusual circumstances for a reunion.

No kidding. I was busy! I mean, busy in transit at least, not like they nabbed me in the middle of running from being shot at... again...

Look, someone's gotta do it! It's not like I asked for this... It's kinda sad that being around a sleeping time bomb is supposed to be the relaxing option.

There is always a safe home for you and your friends in Floaroma, Chelsea, you know that. At least, there will continue to be once we have our situation here settled. Oh, goodness, now that I think about it, I ought to call Kiryu about the daycare...

[She sort of trails off as she gets closer to the end of that sentence, though, realizing, despite her limited technological knowledge, that she probably cannot make a successful phone call to another world.]

[Hey, so you know how Duma is being all nice and obedient and everything? That stops now.]

Jollllllll!

[That's because a very familiar Jolteon with a telltale chewed and worn out pecha berry clip is currently pouncing on Duma's tail.

What. She missed you. It's been months.]

[Emmeryn has enough to worry about without Duma thrashing his tail about causing problems, but this is true of everything, all of the time, so nothing is going to change now. She is not so lucky as to see any of this until it's too late: Duma feels something attack his tail and, startled, he yelps in a way that's more like a roar and swings his whole body around, flinging Vee aside—and in poor Emmeryn's direction, realistically speaking, unless Vee holds on real tight.]

[Luckily for Emmeryn, Vee does hold on real tight! Unluckily for Duma, she only holds on real tight just long enough for her to be flung towards a nearby wall of some sort.

Thankfully, Vee has trained in the Sena School of Nimble-ness and is able to bounce off the wall, but Duma's ill-fortune kicks in and she just ends up jumping onto his head. And nuzzling. A lot.

"Missed you! Missed you missed you missed you its been months and months and months! hi!"

[Had it been months and months and months for Duma, he might share in Vee's excitement, but it hasn't been, and instead he is just agitated and whiny and huffing and harrumphing—but in a brilliant display of character development, he doesn't continue thrashing about, because Emmeryn gasps when Vee hits the wall (yes, she's fine, but what is Emmeryn if she is not worrying). Not wanting to cause his poor mom any further distress, he ducks his head down, grumbling all the while, when Emmeryn runs up with her arms held out.]

Vee, darling?! [She'd recognize that over-enthusiasm and berry clip anywhere!!] Oh, goodness, come here, let me take a look at you.

[like, look at her, Vee DEFINITELY has not broken all her bones, but like what if]

[Vee yips and shakes her little bottom in what is...supposed to be a tail wag except she doesn't really have a tail. She doesn't leave Duma's head (not done telling him how much she missed him yet!!!!) but she does turn to face Emmeryn so that she can get a good look. Completely fine, no problems here!]

Vee?! Where'd you even -

[Ah, there's her trainer. Jogging up with his own entire crew behind him (plus...Taka, who Emmeryn definitely won't recognize at all, hello there), and they all have their own different reactions to seeing some familiar faces.]

Emmeryn! [hi mom!!!!!!!]

[Generally discontent with the situation, especially the part where he's trying so hard to be still, Duma grumbles,] Get oooofffff, [and while Emmeryn seems about to insist on getting Vee down despite being assuaged that she's uninjured, she's quickly distracted by Sena's arrival.]

Sena, hello! I knew you could not be far behind if Vee were at play, love. And— [whomst, whatmst] I see you've made a new friend?

He's still giving you trouble, is he?

[Joining the 'stressed about Giratina' crew were, of course, Ignis and Hemera.]

I do hope you've been well apart from that.

[Ignis won't get to see Emmeryn brighten at the sight of him and Hemera, but there's a definite note of cheer in her voice—she's a little less restrained about these things, these days.]

Oh, Ignis, what a pleasant surprise! Even with circumstances as they are [HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT GIRA-FUCKIN-TINA BRO???] it is always so good to see you.

Duma has been learning better and better to control his temper but, ah, I seem to have misplaced Mila...

[so she looked in Duma's mouth]

['WHY IS GIRATINA HERE']

Oh, dear. I would offer to help you look, but... [IGNIS.] Hemera may be of more aid than I am, if it's a simple matter of having wandered.

They're ever so talkative, and answer to their name, [breezily, as an expert in Not Forgetting Ignis Is Blind and therefore Thinking Ahead To Alternatives] and I would certainly not refuse Hemera's help, either—if it is no trouble, love. Forgive me, I do hate to distract from this reunion, but they oughtn't be alone in this place...

[WITH? GIRATINA? IN IT???]

Not at all. I suspect most of us are a bit on edge right now, it's to be expected. [BECAUSE?? GIRATINA???]

Go on, Hemera. [The Absol wagged her tail just a little, trotting right on up to Emmeryn.] Fortunately for me, she's possessed of a sharp pair of eyes. If you tell her where last you saw Mila, I'm sure we'll get somewhere quickly enough.

In all the commotion of arriving [GI-RA-TI-NA] I cannot even be certain where I last left them. [she's usually so much better at keeping track of demigods than this!! despite her embarrassment she doesn't hesitate to give Hemera deserved scritches upon her approach.] It has not been long and I have not been wandering, so they can't have gone far...

[smash cut to Mila trying to hold one of Giratina's terrible centipede legs with both their blobby arm-hands

although, a thought—] Has the rest of your team come with you here, Ignis, or is it only Hemera accompanying you?

[Michael's here! He hurries over, raising a hand to wave. Cat Janet and Jane Doe are with him; ironically, he probably left the others with Emmeryn herself.]

Hey! Are we all here?

[divinedescendant]

[By now Mila has returned and has their blobby arms wrapped around Emmeryn's neck to dangle uselessly at her back, and they blow bubbles in Michael's direction in greeting from around Emmeryn's head.]

Oh, my, it's starting to seem like it! These are rather unusual circumstances for a reunion, but it is always so wonderful to see you.

You too! How have you been? It's been a little while for me, actually, but I don't really know how all our timelines compare.

Oh, my, the...timeline differences [god please despite everything she can only barely wrap her head around this] will be terribly troublesome with so many of us, I hadn't considered... Have you spoken to Sena yet? He and I, at least, are similarly in line, aside from his stay here.

I have! Said he'd been here by himself for a while?

[Speak of the devil and he will appear. Not quite literally but he was taking some time to himself, conversing with Kiawe about the Alolan Luau and Rodeo when he noticed the new face. He had noticed her around as Pikachu exclaimed,] Pika pi, [and he looked up as Kiawe excused himself for a moment to go converse with Mallow.]

Hi! Sorry, I've been busy helping organize things. I noticed you were one of the newcomers and I've been super busy. I.Z.U. said you were looking for me? I'm Ash Ketchum.
