Kaiba is quiet for a moment, trying to take in all the pain he doesn't understand. The unchecked emotion touches him for a moment, when the hand does, and he looks up...and nods in acknowledgement that something has passed.

After a moment he stands too, leaning on his beloved Stoutland.

"It's simply another dimension of existence, like any other. It took immense power to break the barrier, but...I made it. He's happy. They're all happy."

And Kaiba's not. He wanted his pharaoh back, after all.

"Atem really let me have it when he found out. It was a monumental risk...and I regret the pain I caused, but it's over now. I'm not going anywhere. Just...moving on."
