Once everyone was able to connect to the worlds even despite the worries that abounded, business seemed to work as usual as the people of Ultra Metropolis seemed to also have their own festivals even in this world. Today, they had invited everyone into their world as a show of good faith, as the sky was lit up with the light of stars as the brilliant stars above were glittering despite the radiance of the Etemax Tree far away on the coast.

The people of Paxio were really welcoming, and some of them would love to battle the newcomers. But more importantly, it was Alolans who were really bringing their delicious fruits, foods and vegetables to the land as the beach zone was lit up with beautiful lanterns.

It's very magical, and there's actually some good stuff about this world, as the people of Duckburg, Crystal Cove, Ultra Metropolis and Alola mingled. And you should take this time to relax, it's going to be some time before anything will be done. The Kahuna are meeting with the leaders of each world right now, so don't worry too much about it.

"Easy now, Bloodshy, we'll sit down soon."

"Pffthbftht." "Dew!"

Here comes the baby brigade, featuring Toxel, Budew, and a very enticing basket that Dio is keeping a very close eye on. He's prepared a small picnic on this day, complete with some toys for his Pokémon and a book for himself, and his companions are ever-eager to break into the goods early. "Patience now. The best things in life come with time."

They soon come across an empty table, and Dio sets down his things to set up. Bloodshy and Avant begin to waddle across the table for a bit, the boy occasionally shooing them away from the berries and sandwiches he's prepared, before Bloodshy points a nubby little finger and babbles. "Behh!"

Dio turns and raises an eyebrow at this new approaching company. "You look like you could stand to kick up your feet. Care to join us? It seems they want you to be our guest of honour~"

Indeed, his Pokémon look rather excited to see you.

"Your Pokemon are quite entertaining," said the young man who stepped up, his own Pokemon, a small Phanphy braying happy to join Dio's Pokemon. "Having a picnic I take it?"

He smiled, kneeling down to offer the Pokemon some food from a pouch.

"Indeed. They're quite the handful when they've set their sights on what they want, but... Ever-charming they continue to be."

Dio's companions waddle over to the Phanpy and sit down before it. Bloodshy reaches out to gently bap its trunk in investigation. What is this! He's never seen something like this before!

There's a pause as Bridget points to herself, one eyebrow raised, before shrugging, slapping on her purifier, and walking over.

"Hi. I'm Bridget."

"Yes, you, no need to be shy." Dio moves over to give the lady some room. "I don't believe I've seen you around before, though at this point that's hardly any surprise. I must confess it's been difficult to remember all of these names, what with all of the world-hopping we've done as of late."

He tilts his head as Avant approaches to investigate, her bulb opening and closing almost as if to clap or nip at Bridget's fingers. "Bridget, mm? Bridget... I'll take care to keep it in mind. My name is Dio. Will you be staying awhile?"

Bridget looks down at Avant, raising one hand to the Budew's bulb.

"Most likely. It's...interesting, being among humans again."

Avant "nibbles" on Bridget's hand. The fingers that come into contact with the inside of her bulb tingle just a little, but it passes as soon as she lets go and waddles on away. Don't worry, no poisonings here.

Dio offers her one of the half-sandwiches from the basket. "What kind of people were you around if you weren't around humans?"

Bridget regards her fingers for a moment, flexing them absently.

"We call ourselves Revenants. I believe the old word for us is 'vampires'?"

"Aah."

Somehow, the notion of vampires doesn't faze him much. It's certainly unusual, but the amount of shock he would've had a handful of months ago has been reduced to little more than a surprised blink. Maybe it's the Pokémon. Maybe it's something else.

"I don't suppose you still have a thirst for the forbidden grape juice?"

Bloodshy lifts his head and babbles. He wants grape juice!

Bridget nods, slipping off her purifier. Up close, with her face uncovered, it's easier to see the heavy band of freckles stretching across the bridge of her nose and underneath her eyes - which apparently have star-shaped pupils. Those eyes glow slightly as she breathes in, but it's no more than a small flash.

"I haven't had grape juice in years."
