Finding the place hadn't been easy. Guzma had been reluctant to tell Sena or Adora anything about it, and they couldn't go to Lusamine to ask, what with Overwatch keeping tabs on her. But Kukui, on the other hand, had been surprisingly forthcoming, although all he'd given them was a vague hint about a hidden door somewhere in the new Stadium.
That had been enough. Searching around the base had netted them a secret door at the seemingly empty end of a hallway, and taking it leads to an elevator down into the depths of the stadium. And that led them to another door...one completely locked up with no visible keypad or lock. The only thing there is an odd camera-like device, and a speaker...the light above it a bright red. They're stumped.
"Greetings, Ultra Rider Zero-One. I have been awaiting your-"

"...Sena, why'd you shut the door?"

"How're we supposed to get in? Did Lusamine give you some kinda secret key or something?"
"Eh?! W-W-Why would she give me anything like th-"
As if responding to his voice, the light suddenly flashes green, and a neutral female voice sounds through the speaker.
"Ultra Rider Zero-One, confirmed."
"...Eh?"

"...Sena, why'd you shut the door?"
"...No, I was just surprised..."

"Sorry about that. I was running a little hot there."
no subject
"It's u-understandable...I mean, with how these guys are acting..." He scratches his ear nervously. "Are you guys alright?"
no subject
"I think so, yeah. I worked out a lot of frustration just now."
She crouches down next to the goon she chokeslammed, who's starting to move feebly, and nudges him in the ribs with one foot, drawing a pained hiss from him. She snaps her fingers in front of his face a few times to get his attention and starts speaking when he focuses on her.
"So hey. Listen - listen to me. One of you idiots was smart enough to not mess with my daughter, so he can drag you morons home. And I want you to spread the word, okay? If any of you idiots come near her again, I won't hold back the next time. Got it?"
Her piece said, she dismisses the goon as beneath her notice and walks over to Sena, Phym trailing behind her.
"You were coming in to help, weren't you? Thanks for that."
no subject
Aha ha.
"Those guys are really starting to push their luck...Seriously, nothing's been decided yet, but they're already acting like they have the right to everything..."
It's frustrating.

"You're scared because Mommy lost her temper, aren't you?"
The pair cling to each other a little tighter.
"Last time this happened, Mommy couldn't fight back. That's all."

Seriously, he's kinda used to Pokemon slamming each other into the ground like that...and it happens quite a lot in football, too. Playing with Mr. Don and the others for half a year in Notre Dame...ahaha. Yikes. Terrifying. But it was a good experience!
"At least this time, nobody's against us defending ourselves...If anything, I think they'd help if they could. But...having to hide, it's...I don't like it."
no subject
Alice smiles.
"If they're focused on me, you can sneak around them, right?"
no subject
"You're right. I don't like putting things all on you, but...it is true that I'm working on something. If you could help...it'd be great."

An Adaptive What Now.
"Sena Kobayakawa! It's good to meet you too! And, um..."
what's your kid's name again
no subject
"I'm Phym! I don't have a last name!"
no subject
"Phym! Good to meet you too!"
Ahaha.
"So what do you plan on doing now, anyway?"
no subject
When you consider that Phym also eats things like crayons, toy cars, and clocks, you might take her words with a grain of salt, however.
"Is there anywhere you need me to pick a fight?"
no subject
"Er...not yet. For now, I'm just trying to keep the streets safe while I build a team...ah! Did you see that post my Rotomdex made earlier? It's about that!"
no subject
Phym chimes in at this.
"Hugo is Mommy's impulse control!"
If you knew Hugo you would understand exactly how terrifying that statement is.

He's not normally one to flaunt authority, but he feels a very strange need to assure this woman that she will, in fact, not be in charge of anything.

How to put this...
"Sometimes, a full-out offense isn't bad..."
sena this isn't football
no subject
You said 'Sometimes'. Which means you recognize that it's not always the best choice.
Alice is pretty much a feral berserker who will always default to amounts of violence that give the term 'gratuitous' a real workout.
