Leading up to the 24th, with all there has been said and done, it's been quite a time hasn't it, Fallers?
Starting on the Solstice, a time in which a grand celebration of the Winter Solstice, yes, we haven't forgotten about you, was held at the community center to celebrate the ancient celebration of the stars, a celebration was held on that evening. And then, two more days of laughter, parades, charming cheer and the general overall mood has gone up and up and up.
Alola has been some kind of incredible dream to some, a vacation to others, a incredible stay for some and a time of reflection for many who haven't been here for a while and yet, on the eve of the 24th, a soft, gentle magical snow begins to fall over Alola. Spread across the land by the gentle ringing sleigh of Santa Claus and his Deerling, the sleigh was pulled by Xerneas at the head as he pulled up over the island.
"Whoa there, whoa there," he said, tugging the sleigh to a stop, the older man stopping to check the Christmas Meter on his sleigh.
"What do you think Xerneas?" he asked of the legendary.
Xerneas gave him a look, before nodding, at the gentle snow falling across Alola.
"You're right," said Santa as the snow continued to fall. "Alola will have its Christmas tonight. And these presents, and letters, have to be delivered after all. Let's be off! There's plenty to deliver tonight!"
As they started off on their trip, Kukui came out of the house as he clucked his tongue. "Oh? It's snowing," he said, catching a flake on his hand. "What a world we live in..."
And breathing in, he began to sing.
