Episode 7: The Test of What To Come

bestmomeverLusamine sighed as she brushed her hands across the device. "Three long months... six Arceus Plates, and a month of calculations..."
Looking up at the device, the World Portal was finally built in the safe confines of the Aether Labs. "I don't know if this is going to be enough to start sending people home. It's a small reward, for enduring so much. I feel like I've asked too much of the Fallers already. Of them, leaving their families behind..."
Her thought went to the evening in their home, of Magearna and the gentle light, pointing towards her husband. The distance between them. She was so ready to drop everything, and find him -- and then the first Faller appeared, and drifted down into their garden. Lost and alone.
Just like her husband, lost and alone.
She couldn't turn them away this time.
"I don't know if this is enough to say I'm sorry for disrupting their lives."
