Episode 9: Welcome to the World of Pokemon -- Again! The Galar Trip!

Welcome to the Galar Region everyone!

After a long trip, you've all arrived, rested up and now are touring the countryside before heading to Wyndon. Along the way, you and your classmates get to experience the gentleness of the city before heading to the biggest city of the nation.

Some stops are along the way as follows.





First stop is the big and majestic Wild Area around Motostoke and Hammerlocke. This rich, lush area is full of natural beauty, and is a haven for Pokemon. Trains, trainers and Pokemon all travel through this landscape, as you can see dens lit up across the landscape. Your tour guide will inform you that these Dens are full of Dynamax Pokemon, and can be battled and caught if you wish to test your mettle.

There are Pokemon of all kinds, not quite all of the Pokemon you might find in other regions but Pokemon are migrating in and out of Galar at all times with unique and bizzare forms.




Incredible looking Stow-on-Side is another stop where the trains run, yes, trains run to Stow-on-Side, not EVERYONE walks here, silly! and Here, you can find the historical murals of the landscape, the Fighting Gym run by Bea (when it's not swapped out with Allister every other half a year but this time it's Bea's turn), and maybe if you're plucky enough, Bea will let you challenge her gym. Who knows, she might accept.



Hullbury Gym is in the opposite direction and we'll be taking the Train there as well, or you could rent a bike and hoof it across the bridge, it's up to you. Or a Corviknight Taxi. Either way, we'll be setting out from Hammerlocke in the middle of the week to visit Nessa.


In the middle of the week, we will arrive at our destination. The beautiful city of Wyndon.



Wyndon is a bustling metropolis where some peculiar going-ons have been taking place. While it shouldn't bother you at the moment, Chairman Rose himself has come to meet you and the students with a genuine smile on his face along with his placid secretary, and none other than Champion Leon.

All are very enthusiastic to meet the students, and some of the Fallers who have decided to come on the trip, including the chaperones.

In all, you've been put up at the swankiest hotel thanks to the Chairman's goodwill, and have fun experiencing the life of Wyndon for the next ten days!

This is where the real Mystery Begins, as reports of strange red light has been affecting citizen's Pokemon, and Dynamaxing them once in a while...

That is thankful indeed. And hoo, yes, what teeth she has! Yuume finds herself watching maybe a bit too overtly- with semi-wide eyes, though admittedly with curiousity.

...Annnnd then Hatenna is being picked on. "Ah-" Though Yuume oddly enough seems to move to hold the Hatenna back as well. "...It's alright- though the next time they try something they might be in for a surprise. Hatenna seems prone to violence when pushed..." The entire line is like that Yuume.

"I'll keep that in mind." Hey, cuter things have been deadly before. Anybody who's had to fight a Freelancer Moogle can attest to that. Tyzias sits down next to Yuume, absently petting her Meowth.

She stares into the distance, pondering for a few moments. On what? Who can say. "I don't think I've actually introduced myself beyond falling into your arms like some fucking Victorian maiden getting a the vapors at a bit of exposed ankle. I'm Tyzias. You are...?"

Alright, the Victorian maiden gag gets a strong chuckle given who she's taken under her wing. She does well to keep it short though- "Ah- That certainly is a way to describe it, isn't it," she manages, shaking her head.

"Yuume," she introduces. "Souryuu Yuume. I'm glad you were able to hold out as long as you did, actually- I don't know how healthy being in that state on the mountain would have been for more than a short time..."

"Eh, Eternity 100% is more annoying than anything else, tbh." Tyzias sits down next to Yuume, absently petting her Meowth. The Pokemon's purr is gravely and deep, but oddly soothing. "I mean, sure. Big, scary, ominous dragon. Big whoop. But I don't have fine motor control, I can't talk, people are just as likely to try and slay me than to have a reasonable conversation... I like to keep it closer to 50%, max, whenever I have to Sentai it up.

"Anyways, even if I dropped dead up there once I got out of 100%, I'm pretty certain that dying on a remote mountain because your stupid mix-and-match biology is being a bitch wouldn't count as a Heroic or Just death, so I would've been fine given a few hours."

"Eternity..." She barely starts to murmur before Tyzias goes further into her casual ramble. Percentages, control, abilities, and so on so on just keep going and going, until Tyzias even comes to mention dying.

It's all just a bit overwhelming, even if it only shows because of the slightest dropped jaw. "I..."

...God. "I....I'm so sorry I have no idea what most of that meant..." She's so confused...

Tyzias startles, then chuckles, rubbing the back of her head. "Yeah, uh. It's a bit overwhelming, innit? I don't blame you, even I lose track sometimes." Worlds where she got to keep everything were a mixed blessing; on the one hand, Tyzias had all her powers if she needed them, on the other, it's surprisingly easy to get her wires crossed and blow something up instead of opening a locked door.

"The long and short of it is that I have been to a lot of different worlds, including some that actively draw people in like this one. I started accumulating abilities and gimmicks from each one, and, well. I'm ten percent calamity, twenty percent melody, fifteen percent world-destroying dragon deity, five percent troll, fifty percent god, and a hundred percent reason to remember the name," she says jokingly.

She...does not get that reference. But she does at least blush a bit because honestly, song or no song, that's a heck of a pick-up line tier deal. Wow!

"You're...a world traveler then?" she ultimately says, adjusting her crossed legs a moment to sit more comfortably. "That's incredible- you certainly did seem fairly collected on the mountain..."

"Yeah. That definitely wasn't the most fraught or weird situation I've ever been in." Tyzias snorts, idly toying with the grass as her Meowth pokes its head out of her mess of long hair. She has long given up on keeping the thing in a ball, it always seems to escape at the most inopportune times. Tyzias didn't even pick Meowth as her starter, it just started following her when she was exploring the tall grass.

"That probably goes to the time loop back on Vaikuntha. Man, those were the good ol' days. Well. Bad ol' days, but good people. I actually hung out with Nozomi over there."

"Mmmm, somehow that doesn't sound very surprising now..." Not with how...casually she's taking things at least. Goodness-

Yuume blinks though- after all, it was only recently that she herself worked a mission alongside the one Tyzias mentioned. "N- ...You knew Nozomi? You were in the same realm at another time then!?"
