Episode 9: Welcome to the World of Pokemon -- Again! The Galar Trip!

Welcome to the Galar Region everyone!

After a long trip, you've all arrived, rested up and now are touring the countryside before heading to Wyndon. Along the way, you and your classmates get to experience the gentleness of the city before heading to the biggest city of the nation.

Some stops are along the way as follows.





First stop is the big and majestic Wild Area around Motostoke and Hammerlocke. This rich, lush area is full of natural beauty, and is a haven for Pokemon. Trains, trainers and Pokemon all travel through this landscape, as you can see dens lit up across the landscape. Your tour guide will inform you that these Dens are full of Dynamax Pokemon, and can be battled and caught if you wish to test your mettle.

There are Pokemon of all kinds, not quite all of the Pokemon you might find in other regions but Pokemon are migrating in and out of Galar at all times with unique and bizzare forms.




Incredible looking Stow-on-Side is another stop where the trains run, yes, trains run to Stow-on-Side, not EVERYONE walks here, silly! and Here, you can find the historical murals of the landscape, the Fighting Gym run by Bea (when it's not swapped out with Allister every other half a year but this time it's Bea's turn), and maybe if you're plucky enough, Bea will let you challenge her gym. Who knows, she might accept.



Hullbury Gym is in the opposite direction and we'll be taking the Train there as well, or you could rent a bike and hoof it across the bridge, it's up to you. Or a Corviknight Taxi. Either way, we'll be setting out from Hammerlocke in the middle of the week to visit Nessa.


In the middle of the week, we will arrive at our destination. The beautiful city of Wyndon.



Wyndon is a bustling metropolis where some peculiar going-ons have been taking place. While it shouldn't bother you at the moment, Chairman Rose himself has come to meet you and the students with a genuine smile on his face along with his placid secretary, and none other than Champion Leon.

All are very enthusiastic to meet the students, and some of the Fallers who have decided to come on the trip, including the chaperones.

In all, you've been put up at the swankiest hotel thanks to the Chairman's goodwill, and have fun experiencing the life of Wyndon for the next ten days!

This is where the real Mystery Begins, as reports of strange red light has been affecting citizen's Pokemon, and Dynamaxing them once in a while...

Why is everyone being so reckless in a new region? Kaiba can only stare, befuddled, as she brazenly defies the Pokémon and somehow wins the battle of wills. He finds himself following behind, prepared to pounce if necessary but surprised when it's not.

"How are you doing that?"

Reira pulls herself out of another den, shoving yet more candies in her bag. She looks to Seto, blinking at the question.

"....I just don't go all the way inside."

That wasn't what he was asking, kiddo.

"...I mean...how are they not...attacking..."

Kaiba doesn't trust it. He steps a little closer, staring at her hoard of candy. "And is that safe."

God, Kaiba, when did you become so fussy.

[soft_focus]

One of the Linoone laugh. Obstagoon herself really laughs.

Reira just blinks. "I don't know. They're nice, that's all. People were jumping into the holes that glowed more before, so it's probably okay."

Reira this is cheating.

"...which holes?"

Ultra Holes, or something else? Should he be preparing to fight someone off? He crosses his arms and stares at the creatures, who just stare blankly back.

[soft_focus]

Reira gestures back to the odd geometric rock structure again, leaning over it. "...These ones. People jump into the ones that are glowing, all the way to the bottom...but there's candy in the sides too."

At this the 'goon gang laughs, as if sharing their own joke. Suffice to say, they're eager to encourage the sort of cheating that goes into stealing from empty raid dens.

"...they're not just jumping for candy, right."

This was a bizarre place. He almost looked like he wanted to find out for himself.

"Did you find anything else?"

[soft_focus]

"I don't think so. A lot of them looked at pokeballs when they went in or out. They're only the glowing ones though. But the not-glowing ones have lots of things. Mostly candy."

...

"Sometimes fruit though."

[blue_ice]

"...so there are Pokémon inside, probably. And you're just after the spoils."

There's nothing wrong with that. Kaiba's kind of impressed with how shrewd it is. "How's the candy?"

[soft_focus]

"I don't know yet." She hasn't tried a single one...

"But it's everywhere, so I'm going to get as much as I can."

Logic.

[blue_ice]

"...hm," Kaiba sighed. "Think it's worth going in for more?"

[soft_focus]

"Yeah."

Reira doesn't know what they taste like, but it sure is. "There's lots of holes like this though- it's easy to search all of them."
