Episode 9: Welcome to the World of Pokemon -- Again! The Galar Trip!

Welcome to the Galar Region everyone!

After a long trip, you've all arrived, rested up and now are touring the countryside before heading to Wyndon. Along the way, you and your classmates get to experience the gentleness of the city before heading to the biggest city of the nation.

Some stops are along the way as follows.





First stop is the big and majestic Wild Area around Motostoke and Hammerlocke. This rich, lush area is full of natural beauty, and is a haven for Pokemon. Trains, trainers and Pokemon all travel through this landscape, as you can see dens lit up across the landscape. Your tour guide will inform you that these Dens are full of Dynamax Pokemon, and can be battled and caught if you wish to test your mettle.

There are Pokemon of all kinds, not quite all of the Pokemon you might find in other regions but Pokemon are migrating in and out of Galar at all times with unique and bizzare forms.




Incredible looking Stow-on-Side is another stop where the trains run, yes, trains run to Stow-on-Side, not EVERYONE walks here, silly! and Here, you can find the historical murals of the landscape, the Fighting Gym run by Bea (when it's not swapped out with Allister every other half a year but this time it's Bea's turn), and maybe if you're plucky enough, Bea will let you challenge her gym. Who knows, she might accept.



Hullbury Gym is in the opposite direction and we'll be taking the Train there as well, or you could rent a bike and hoof it across the bridge, it's up to you. Or a Corviknight Taxi. Either way, we'll be setting out from Hammerlocke in the middle of the week to visit Nessa.


In the middle of the week, we will arrive at our destination. The beautiful city of Wyndon.



Wyndon is a bustling metropolis where some peculiar going-ons have been taking place. While it shouldn't bother you at the moment, Chairman Rose himself has come to meet you and the students with a genuine smile on his face along with his placid secretary, and none other than Champion Leon.

All are very enthusiastic to meet the students, and some of the Fallers who have decided to come on the trip, including the chaperones.

In all, you've been put up at the swankiest hotel thanks to the Chairman's goodwill, and have fun experiencing the life of Wyndon for the next ten days!

This is where the real Mystery Begins, as reports of strange red light has been affecting citizen's Pokemon, and Dynamaxing them once in a while...

Wyndon Hotel

Here in Wyndon Hotel, you will be staying for the rest of the trip. Feel free to stay in and around the area and mingle and sample the life of the town.

The hotel is nice enough, Kaiba supposes. There's some old world charm, but everything's a little short and narrow, which makes it slightly uncomfortable for him. Something about being in an unfamiliar area has him on edge, as usual.

So he can be seen lurking by a window in the hallway in the wee hours of the morning, watching the lights outside and sipping a cup of tea. Goliath the Sobble is in his lap, drinking through a Sinistea-shaped sippy cup.

...or maybe it's being a new parent that's causing Kaiba to miss out in his sleep. Whatever the case, he's set out a kettle and there are cups waiting if anyone else is up.

"Pika-chu?" asked a voice nearby, as a squat, furry form scrambled up into the chair next to Seto.

There was a adorable Pikachu in a detective's hat as he looked up with a cute expression. "Pika pi," said the Pikachu, gesturing to the coffee kettle. It seemed like he wanted a cup. Indulge him?

There's a Pikachu wandering loose in the halls, because of course there is. Kaiba's gaze drifts toward his own Pikachu, a curious little girl curled around his chair leg. Her ears perk when she sniffs out another, and she climbs up into Seeto's lap to watch the proceedings.

The insomnia-plagued human glances back at the little fellow in a hat, decides he's lost his mind anyway, and pours another cup.

"Fine. But whatever happens next is on you."

[piping_hot]

"Chu pika chu," replied the Pikachu with a sidelong glance. "Chaaaaaaa!"

He took the cup, no cream, no sugar, black as night, thank you sweetie, and sipped it. Good coffee. It seems whatever force possessed the little Pikachu to beg for coffee has given it an iron stomach.

How odd. Kisara seemed to think so too. But if the other Pikachu liked it...maybe it was good?

She poured herself a cup, took a sip...and promptly spit it out all over Kaiba's shirt. Well, that confirmed there was something odd about the visitor, at least. He hissed and pulled it off---thankfully his undershirt hadn't been soaked.

"Kisara, you know you're not supposed to drink that! You have enough energy as it is."

A tired Kaiba passed her some water in another sippy cup, She took a drink, but eyed the visitor with just as much suspicion as her trainer.

"I'm afraid of what this one gets up to at night," he finished.

"Chu pi pika," said Pika to Kisara. "I dunno what's going on," said Detective Pikachu to Kisara. "I'm still trying to figure out why I'm back in Pikachu's body to be perfectly honest, Mewtwo is nowhere near here! But in anyway tell your trainer he makes a damn good cup of joe." In Pokespeak of course, Seto can't understand him. All in one "Chu pika chu. Pi Pika."

Sluuuuurp.

"In anyway doll, I'm looking for this guy," he said, holding out a picture of a Grubbin. "This guy has absconded with a truckload of Wishing Stars, and I need them back. Chairman Rose hired me to find them. Seen him?" "Chu Pi pi pika?"

He showed the picture of the Grubbin to Kisara and Seto, and the Wishing Stars and the Truck.

Kisara gave Seto a gentle head-pat to communicate this, then crawled closer and squinted at the picture.

"I don't know, but I'll look! And that's not the weirdest thing I've seen here. I'm sure we'll figure it out."

Her trainer, on the other hand, was looking between them with a wild expression. He was clearly losing his mind.

[piping_hot]

"Pi pika pi," said Detective Pikachu. Translation? "Right. Tell your trainer he makes a dang fine cuppa joe. But we'll keep in touch."

Slurping down the coffee, he added, "If you see anything, we'll be in town. Hopefully we'll figure out something to deal with the situation. Grubbin is a slippery one. Try to keep a look out for this guy too."

And he held up a picture of a round-eyed man in a police uniform. "His name's Morimoto. He's Grubbin's trainer. Real slippery guy."
