Episode 8: Team Rocket Interlude
The doors slid open as Nanu stepped into the building. "Oi, you lot. You sure this is it?"
"This sure is it," said James, stepping into the building. "This is Headquarters."
"Huh. It's changed a lot since I've been here." said Nanu, the man looking around the building. "I expected... a more welcome wagon."
"What do you mean? We expected actually people here. Entrapta, you said there was people here!" exclaimed Jessie, turning towards the girl who was fiddling with a device.
"I know I said that, but it looks like they've all fled the base!" Exclaimed Entrapta, checking her device. "It looks like multiple Ultra Holes were opened up in the last 72 hours, and most if not all of their stuff were taken."
"Figures." said Nanu. "Giovanni was always one to pull out whenever he was fingered. Knowing him..."
Going over to a computer bank, he tapped it, and then felt under the console before locating a hidden on switch. Turning it on, he powered up the bank and a message fired up, displaying Giovanni who looked cool as ever.
"Ah, Nanu." said Giovanni. "If you're seeing this, it means you've come to confront your old friend. I know you must be wanting some answers. Why I formed Team Rainbow Rocket. Why I should let those two lead you to my main base... and why Entrapta was let to wander the town so easily."
"A trap," said Nanu, scowling.
"A trap, and that's what you're thinking," chuckled Giovanni. "No, it's much worse than that my old friend. You're going to just merely be left with little way to follow us -- and a very big surprise."
A massive growl echoed through the building as a huge fist slammed down in the huge facility as the walls shook. "Experiments were finicky at best, but you remember our good friend Alolan Meowth, do you? It took some doing, but suffusing her with Dynamax Power, and then inducing Shadow Pokemon Transformation, well... I think you're going to be interested in the results!"
"Giovanniiiiiiiii!" Shouted Nanu as Gigantamax Alolan Shadow Meowth crashed through the building.
