Episode 5: Hot and Cold Flex Off!

Today, the Class is off to the Hot Springs! Until Monday, they’ll be on a school trip to Mount Lanakila, where they will spend two days and two nights at the mountain. Here, the school will learn about the native Snow Pokemon. However…

Kukui frowned in worry at the Mountain which was… suspiciously barren of snow in this area. The ground was green with grass, and it was swelteringly hot. “Sorry everyone! It seems like we’ve got unseasonable weather!” Exclaimed Kukui. “Still, there’s no worry here! Unload your things, get settled in and we’ll still tour the Ice Caves at 2pm! Until then, try and relax. Maybe if you want a nice Heatwave, try out the hot springs!”

No worries everyone, there's plenty to see. Lots of Pokemon still. Though, the people at the Hot Springs could need your help, getting the springs back to working order. The Owner could use people with technical help to look at the pipes, people with strong backs to get the springs in order and at 2pm everyone will go to the caves unless you're helping the Owner.

BOSS BATTLE

Four impossible crits in a row. The Buzzswole are really impressed by the power of these people. But...

Then the ash-covered Buzzswole steps forward. And rolls /3D6.

The effect is like Like a goddamn nuclear blast of pure raw POWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Well this is all getting intense. Yuume kicks her shirt toward Mirio- "There are children present~!" she 'sings', with the sort of tone that implies she'd rather he not be nude as well. With yet another kick forward, she releases her Audino-

"Audino! Join in!" she commands, making another pose. Yuume's ain't half bad, considering the chain of actions that went into it. Audino...

"A- AUDINO!" Audino does her best. But Audino is, ultimately, an Audino, even if the pose Technically matches.

Well that was a bit of a flub. In his haste, he lost his pants after all.

"Sorry about that, I guess my usual work hazard happened," laughed Mirio, putting on the pants but not the shirt. "As it stands, there's plenty of work to be done!"

And he struck a pose. "There's much to do, and less time to do it in!"

Renee can't pull off the Terry Crews stuff. Not by any means. What she can do--she's a musician, after all--she can freakin' dance and flex at the same time, and that's what she's going to do, if she can pull it off.

Clapping her hands, she's working in a circle around the Buzzswole in front of her. "Come on, Stompy, you can do it!" The Phanpy...doesn't look too certain about that, but he does try to stomp his feet and work his trunk in tandem with his Trainer...

You go, Stompy. Crush it.

Dio is beginning to have second thoughts about all of this though, actually! This is starting to get extremely intense, and his self-consciousness is gnawing more steadily now.

He's starting to potato a little bit, probably. Please just leave him alone, he's already seen so much today.

The powerful rhythmic flexing seemed to crescendo with the boss Buzzswole seemingly being pleased by the power that these four displayed, even with the mess ups. Buzzswole nodded, before striking a pose, arms behind his head and then THRUSTING.

CRITICAL HIT.

You need to like, recover from that everyone.

Yuume thought she was doing great with one shots. Single blows. Complementary strikes with an Audino.

She failed to comprehend the sheer power of a buzzswole boss though.

Yuume is so stunned, she trips over her Audino, and immediately finds herself choking on sand.

"G- OH!"

The Boss thrusts above her.

Yuume is astral projecting again.

"Ma'am, you okay?!" exclaimed Mirio, shocked that he almost forgot to flex.

Almost.

This is a flex off after all.

Renee flexed, all right--bringing both her arms up in something like a Hulk Hogan pose straight outta the 80s, eyes sparking red for a moment, even as she threw up a kinetic shield around herself, her Pokemon, the fallen Yuume and her Audino, Mirio and his Riolu, and Dio.

She made a face at the Buzzswole, too. "Ya gonna have to do better'n that to get me down, brotherrr!"

"YUUME--!"

As he watches his caretaker collapse from the flexing energy of the mosquito men, Dio's hands clench into fists. He steadies his stance, steeling himself to face the Buzzswole with renewed vigor. Yuume is powerful, and even she fell--!!

"You!" he directs, staring fire down at the culprit. "You'll pay for what you've done!"

What a powerful flex.

The powerful flexing has quite frankly intimidated King Buzzswole from all comers. Except the one he downed.

But he's not going to go down without a fight.

One last powerful flex.

One last amazing flex for the ages.

Time to summon up all of his strength...! And nope. He had nothing left.

One last flex? Yuume....

Can do that.

Slowly, she stands- pulling herself to her feet, determined. Maybe still a bit dazed from all the flexing nonsense around her.

But she manages One Last Stance.

"Is that....All you have left then..?"

"You're slowing down, good fight." said Mirio, wiping sweat off his brow. "Well then..."

And Mirio threw into a powerful POSE that would rock the field incredibly.

when I walk in the spot, this is what I see

"Check it out!" said Renee, flexing her arms again--for all the scars, she really did have a nice pair of biceps, and despite being muscular for a girl her size, she had curves in the right places, too.

And she was using just the right amount of wiggle as she finished her dance and inched closer to King Buzzswole--she wasn't tapped out yet!

"I work out!" Renee said smugly, with one more flex just for sheer emphasis.
