Alola Farmers Harvest Festival!

There's been signs leading up to the announcement and the four islands have been hard at work preparing for such an event. The four islands have been preparing their ferry's for such an occasion all week, but now, it's finally here! The Alola Famers Harvest Festival has begun!

From the Week of the 10th to the 15th, the Farmers Harvest Festival will be available. This means that not only the people of Alola will be celebrating the turn of the season with a huge All-Four Island Farmers Market in the four major town ports, but also there will be music, dancing, and all kinds of adventure just waiting to be found.

But there has also been a surprising upswing in sightings of special Pokemon in the area.

Pokemon from Galar, Alcremie in all of its various forms have been appearing across the islands, drawn by the food and fun. However, some of them are up to mischief and can be found in various spots of the island, stealing food and/or possibly making trouble.

It's up to you to find and deal with these Alcremie as you see fit. But be careful, one of them might have a surprise in store for those unaware!

Towards the end of the week, there will be a surprise appearance from a famous chef duo, one from the Sinnoh Region's famous Seven Stars Restaurant!

Roman and Kylie will be offering a chance to cook a full 7 Course Meal for anyone who can defeat them in battle, for them and their party. Of course, the opportunity is open to everyone involved. All you have to do -- is defeat their champion. Who is their champion? Well, we'll just have to see about that!

"Kid, if there's one thing I've learned? Pokemon account for half the weirdness in this world. Having a Rotom possess a super suit of weaponized weapons isn't going to be the most troublesome problem on my list, even with it going about webbing people up." said Tony. "If we haven't heard it really causing HUGE trouble today? We're good. Didn't make the six o'clock news."

"Yeah, I completely agree with that assessment." He nods again.

"That's not very nice." Dwayne points out. "I'm only looking out for your well being." He says, crossing his arms in offense.

"...Yeah, okay. When getting less than an hour of sleep is good for my health, I'll let you know."

"Hm? I, well..." Ellen let out a small sigh. "I'm scared of ghosts, but I just... I just can't let him be left alone, now could I?"

"Some people are, it's not that uncommon."

Gary added, "You know, there's even some people who are afraid of Pokemon out there. Even Ash met a kid who was afraid of Pokemon in the Hoenn Region."

[shadowslipping]

"HAHH-!?" On the one hand, she's got a child under her arm. On the other that child also just started fumbling around with a bag, waking up a small owl, and it's Very Distracting. More distracting perhaps is the bird blasting out of said bag...

And nearly blasting her in the face in the process. Yuume veers to the side, screeching a fair bit as she tumbles over a tea cart and drops Ash in the process. "MNGh- A-Audino, don't lose them!" she shouts, the audino pausing only briefly before squeaking and continuing on the pursuit. "Nh...Ash, are you alright..?" She's getting herself up as fast as possible.

"I'm fine, I'm fine!" Exclaimed Ash, getting to his feet in a roll. "Rowlet, go!"

"Hoooo!" Exclaimed Rowlet, zooming towards the Alcremie quick as a flash as he suddenly appeared in front of it.

So fast. Like lightning, he drove the Alcremie towards Yuume's Audino.

"Now's your chance, Audino!" Exclaimed Rotom excitedly.

"Mnhh...glad to hear it..." Yuume groans, not quite feeling as grand herself.

Her audino is still torn. It's her chance?? Is it?? Between Ash's rotom (Yuume's, more than likely, has caught sight of a pokebase game), and the chaos of everything, she can't even figure out what would be best to do! The alcremie...

"D-Dii noo!!"

Literally just rush by, the Rowlett going after it.

"D-Dii noo!! Di no!" Nooooo she's failed! Failed failed fa-

"AH!-"

Yuume's only barely gotten herself up, but as the blur of colours comes in the corner of her eye she moves-

Naisu Catch!

-and immediately, and perhaps predictably, Yuume's hands are covered in whipcream. "Hang on there now..! You're not getting away again!"

No not with that kind of grip, she certainly isn't.

Well, Ash seemed to be taking care of the situation well, so, maybe his Rowlet’s just a Pokemon Monsieur Mangetout.

“Your Pokemon are full of surprises, huh?” Trip said with a smirk, recalling Oshawott.

He held the pokeball up to the light and smiled.

“Yeah. My first capture here...”

Frillish floated over to stay by his side, tentacles laden with stolen food, although it now looked rather disappointed not to finish fighting Alcremie.

“You have to return those,” Trip said firmly.

Frillish only looked more disappointed, but grumpily obliged. Trip looked back at Ash.
“But didn’t you say they had to he turned in to someone? Ms. Lusamine, was it?”

"O-oh. Okay." Well that's.. fair. He guesses. Even though he just tried to get away with lying. Not that he's about to call attention to that.

"No, didn't make the news." Peter says before sitting down at the table.

"I'll uh... show you Peeves after dinner, I guess."

"Why would you get less sleep every night? Enough rest every night is good for you." said Adora.

"Great. Eat up, I'm starving. I've been tinkering all day, and this Chinese is great. I've never been one for vegetarian but they really nail the fake meat here." said Tony, chewing. "Can't even taste the soylent."

"Nice!" Exclaimed Ash as Rotom hooted in victory. "You got it!"

"Well it's not a conventional catch, but she got it," said Rotom, chirping. "It's hers I guess. We don't need to turn it over to Lusamine if its hers. We just need to put it into a Pokeball."

"Naw, I don't think that's a problem, not if you can take care of her," replied Ash with a grin. "If you think you can, then that's all right with the Aether Foundation. We're mostly looking for people to take care of them, more than we are taking on hands. Not like they can't take care of them mind you, but we'd prefer they find homes, right? Ohana and all that. No one gets left behind."

Peter just shrugs. Sorry Adora, you haven't unlocked his tragic, nightmare-enducing backstory.

"I don't know. Just can't fall asleep, I guess. So I do other stuff instead." Like investigate things through Wingull or watch movies or read a book or something.

"And then this guy seems to think that I need to wake up like five hours before school even starts."

"When I can't sleep, I go for a run. Or I join Hala on one of his training sessions. It usually tires me out."

"DID SOMEONE SAY SWOLE TRAINING?" exclaimed Danny, exploding onto the scene pumping some kind of upbeat training montage song. "You finding a training buddy Adora?"

"Dunno yet, but if you're up for it? I mean, I am kind of a harsh taskmaster and if you're up like, five hours before school begins then we can put at least an hour of that before class to a workout." she offered Peter.

Peter doesn't argue and just grabs a box to dig in. He is hungry, after all. Since the bite he spends most of the time being at least a little hungry. He also doesn't want to eat as much as he maybe should because taking care of a growing teenage is probably expensive enough. Throw in that metabolism that he's got? He's not trying to eat anyone out of house and home.

"This is pretty good." He agrees after the first bite.

"Uh... I don't know that I'm really allowed to leave at night. I haven't asked. Maybe I should." He knows May had him adhere to a strict curfew because of living in a dangerous city and school and stuff.

"Uh... I mean, I'd rather figure out how to sleep. Dwayne tries to get me up super early but I usually lock him out of my room.

"Hala lets met out, but he and I have an understanding," said Adora. Mostly because Hala had sat her down and asked her exactly if she wanted to go out at night and train once in a while.

"That's okay, I think sleep's important anyhow. You should probably convince Dwayne to let you sleep at least for five hours."

"Really? Do you know what happened?" Ellen asked, curious.

"It took time, effort, and helped the kid see that there wasn't anything to fear from Pokemon." said Gary.

"Excuse me, but did you say you're afraid of Ghost Pokemon? I couldn't help but overhear, sorry," said a voice, as Lillie and Snowball stood there, embarrassed to have overheard the conversation. "Oh hello Professor Gary! I'm Lillie, a classmate of yours. I was afraid of all Pokemon as well for the longest time."

"Oh! Um... I... yes, I am." Ellen admitted, sheepishly. She let out a sigh before looking at Lillie. "I'm Ellen and... how... what did you do? How did you adjust?"

"Well it's a long story that involves a lot of gentle coaxing, trauma and recovery. Can we sit down and have a drink?" asked Lillie.

"Sounds like a good plan, something like this you want to sit down for." said Gary. "There's Oranguru's cafe over there if you two want to grab a drink. I can sit a little further if you two want to chat privately."

"Um, sure! That'll be good!" Ellen said, nodding quickly. She had to hear what Lillie had to say. Maybe it could help with her problem.

Getting a seat at Oranguru's outdoor cafe, Lillie ordered four juices for her, Snowball, Ellen and Ellen's Haunter, Lillie passed the drinks to them. "Well, it all started when I was little. I loved Pokemon, still do actually. I was living on the Aether Foundation Island with my family. Everything seemed perfect until the incident."

"Coo..." said Snowball in between sips.

"You see, my mother was conducting research into Ultra Holes and Ultra Beasts, and they made a Pokemon called Silvally to combat them in case they ever got out of control in their research. But... I didn't know this."
