[ Peter's certainly been through some weird things in his life but this... this might just take the cake. And right now he feels a little sick and tired of weird but what can you do when a wormhole opens up right underneath you and drops you... wherever this is. Peter sucks in a breath and glances at his watch. ]
Yeah, of course. [ He rolls his eyes at the time displaying, wondering if falling into a wormhole counts as an excused absence. Wherever he is, he's sure it's either not earth or possibly even the wrong universe entirely-there's nothing Iron Man related to see and for the passed few months he couldn't go anywhere without seeing something in dedication to Tony Stark. He's not sure if it's a relief or just upsetting not to see it now. Just the thought has him shaking his head. ]
Okay Peter... let's... figure out how to contact someone... [ He mutters to himself. ]
{ Hau’oli City: Does whatever a Spider can }
[ He's been here all of three hours by his watch and someone knocks into him, shoving him out of the way. Then there's the sirens and Peter realizes what's going on. ]
No Vacations for Spider-Man.
[ He mutters under this breath, ducking behind a building and changing quickly into his Spider-suit. He's greeted by the familiar voice of Karen as he pulls his mask over his face. ]
Hey Karen, some dude just ran off and I'm pretty sure he's a criminal-any chance you can track him?
[ He webs his backpack to a nearby wall and leaps up to the roof. He finds the thief easily enough and webs him to a window. ]
Look buddy, I don't know what's going on here-but running makes you look guilty and I'm betting that bag doesn't belong to you.
Spinarak [ A noise comes from his right. ]
What the-Aah! [ He lets out a startled yelp-uh why didn't his spidey-sense go off? ]
Spina! [ It seemed a little like it was laughing at him but it was kinda cute. ]
Uh hey-maybe don't sneak up on me like that? Spider-Man shrieking like that is gonna kill my street cred.
{ Library: A different kind of science. }
[ So Spinarak, or Shelob, as Peter's taken to calling her, has apparently decided she's not going to leave the teenager's side. Even after he shed the spider-suit she still found him and since she's nice, Peter's not too bent out of shape about it. ]
[ He's got Shelob on his head as he sits at a desk reading a book on Space and particularly about wormholes and the multiverse but the information in the book is way different than he'd have expected. He lets out a sigh and rubs his temples after setting the book down. ]
