Come One Come All! - Open
1. Bewear Honey Donut Truck
The Honey Donut Shop has a new mascot today.
With the arrival of a new Faller, who has been taken under control by Bewear herself. Zuzu Boyle was put to work by Team Rocket who has determined that she was not going to be freeloader.
So dressed in the pink and blue of the outfit, she was handing out samples and calling out to people. But no one was giving her a berth. "This is getting is nowhere," said Zuzu worriedly, as the shenanigans of Team Rocket during the League were known, and sales were down.
"I know!" Exclaimed Zuzu as she pulled out her Duel Disk and activated it. "Action Field Activate! Cross Over!"
In an instant, floating platforms formed around the area as Jessie shouted, "hey! We're not here to let you play, brat!"
"Just watch!" exclaimed Zuzu, as people stopped and stared. "Ladies and gentlemen! The Entertainment Duel style of You Show is on the Islands of Alola! Presenting it live from Alola in association with Bewear Honey Donuts! Come and be dazzled!"
In a swift move, she summoned Soprano and used it's effect to special summon Solo to the field. "And now! Let's give it up for our star of the show!"
Across the way, a small Popplio stared in wonderment as Zuzu held up her hand as she exclaimed, "Heavens above, join in our ringing chorus as we Fusion Summon! Soprano activates her effect, and Fuses with Solo to create a brand new melody!"
Light blazed and music showered as Schuberta burst onto the scene as Zuzu took to the skies, leaping up into the sky from platform to platform in a daring leap and dashing off the top of a roof and diving high to be caught by Schuberta to the roar of the crowd. "Thank you! Thank you! Please, refresh yourself with Honey Donuts!"
2. After the Show
After the show, Zuzu smiled as she took her break, and James handed her a cool drink. "You did good," he said with a kind tone. "I thought you were just a freeloader, but I see now why Bewear took you in."
"Thanks James," replied Zuzu.
"For a brat you're pretty skilled."
"Stop calling me that!" Exclaimed Zuzu.
For a moment they stared at one another before they laughed. "Okay, Zuzu." said James before the Popplio ran up and leaped into her arms.
"Oh! Who are you?" asked Zuzu as she held her Popplio as James made a retreat. This would be a good time for anyone to approach Zuzu to talk with her and her new Pokemon.
3. Duel Racing
After seeing a mechanic about her Duel Runner, the Duel Runner was in better shape than before thanks to some handy people. Zuzu didn't want to get on, but traveling back to her residence was a long trip and she wanted to enjoy it. So here she was, on the pink Duel Runner, zooming through the streets of the city, pausing at different places. Popplio rode on her head as she paused at the Jewelry Store, the Mall, the Beach and the School before heading home to the Tree House to take a long soak.

More of these people from the future. But he doesn't dwell on that long, because what he sees truly is astounding. The girl leaps into the air, and her monster companion catches her. She's truly solid. The disk is compact but so much stronger than his own.
He has to know. He approaches, briefcase in hand.
"Where did you get that duel disk?"

Holding it out for him to take a look at it, she ejected her cards and Extra Deck. "The Extra Deck goes here, and the deck goes here. And it's got a Auto Card Shuffler function. I'm surprised you know about Duel Disks."

He kneels and flips the latch on the briefcase, withdrawing a card. Blue Eyes, of course. He flips the card in his hand and sighs.
"My Solid Vision produced lifelike images of Duel Monsters, but I never achieved tangibility. I'd love to know how that happened."

"Leo Corporation introduced Mass into the calculations to add to Solid Vision, and calculates the difference in that and brings it all together with the ARC Dueling System. The Duel Disk was born from that that we use today. One that we can ride and run and jump on."
She gestured towards the Duel Runner that sat to the side. "The Synchro Dimension applied it to the Duel Runners of their world, and they play Duel Monsters on Motorcycles with the same technology, adding Mass to their systems as well. But it wasn't until Yuya and the Lancers brought Action Fields to their world that we have the Riding Duel rules with Action Cards now. But in short, the Duel Runner motorcycle has a Duel Disk as well, installed into the system as well."

Kaiba crouches to get a closer look. It really is something...that much power, and so compact.
"So you ride and duel? Sounds intense...but it could be a recipe for disaster as well." He could just picture Wheeler driving one of these things. Not a pretty sight.

"I had to learn," she said, moving over and tabbing the Duel System so it powered on, the flat blade of the Duel Platform springing to life in response to her fingers. "it's set to autopilot, and it tracks the road, but there's still a degree of control from the user if you want to perform stunts and such."
Zuzu added, "The way I was told, it did start with two people riding down the highway of City, dueling, but since then, they built Duel Runners in order to maintain a more safer system of Dueling. Want to give it a try?"

"The riding or the dueling? I know how to drive, and my deck is the strongest in the world for its era, but the game's clearly different in your era. I'd need to upgrade."
He's not letting anyone make a fool out of him for such a ridiculous reason...but there's clear desire in his eyes. That does look like...dare he think it, fun.

"Okay, maybe it is different. But it's still fun! I was running a Tribute-only deck until I learned how to Fusion Summon, and then I had to learn how to Pendulum Summon on the fly. But I'm sure you could summon something using our system."

He thumbs through his deck, pulling a few tribute monsters into his hand...and Blue Eyes, of course.
And a Kuriboh. How did that get in there? He snorts and sets that card aside.

Kaiba scoffs at the nudge from the clown seal, but...he supposes she's right. And his burning curiosity is at the forefront. He fans out his cards, positions them over the disk, and makes his move.
"I play my hand and sacrifice my monsters! Come forth, Blue Eyes!"
His familiar monsters materialize. He tributes two with a wave of his hand, and lays one dragon on the disk, waiting with held breath. Could this be really happening?

"So cool," replied Zuzu, watching them materialize as she held her breath with bated energy as the world crackled about with light.

She turns to look down at the humans: one new to her, and one...oh yes. She knows this one. She bends, opens her maw wide, and licks a stripe up Kaiba's cheek.
He shudders. One, that's gross. But two, and more importantly, she's really here. A small smile spreads on his face as he steps forward, hesitantly touching the cool scales. She presses against his hand.
It's beautiful. He settles his hand on his majestic dragon's neck and turns to Zuzu. "This is the Blue Eyes White Dragon, the harbinger of destruction. And this is how she was meant to be seen."
Blue Eyes roars happily.

She clasped her hands to her chest as she added, "I thought, the Blue Eyes White Dragon was a legend, a card so rare that no one in the world had it. To think you have it, and it's standing right here, so... so... beautiful!"
Zuzu was so transfixed, and she wasn't the only one. Jessie and James, Meowth and Wobbafett were peeking their heads out from the trick and Popplio was staring in awe.

"I'm not surprised. I own the only three Blue Eyes in existence in my universe, and there's probably some collector out there holding on in yours. They'd be out of their mind to let it go."
He noticed the truck owners, but paid them little mind. Instead, he's focused on Zuzu.
"She won't hurt you as long as you're showing respect. You can come closer if you want."
The dragon did seem interested, lowering her head to sniff the girl.

"She's gorgeous," said Zuzu, appreciatively. "I see why you're so taken with her."

"You haven't even seen her true power," he says with a small smile. "That's where the beauty lies. But this isn't the time for a lightning storm, as much as I want to spice things up around here. How about we fly instead?"
Yes, that's an invitation. Kaiba gives his dragon a look and she lowers herself expectantly. He climbs aboard with a clearly awed expression, then schools his face into something resembling his normal impassiveness before offering a hand.

Accepting Kaiba's invitation, she climbed aboard and settled down, grasping carefully onto her back as she said, "Okay, ready!"
She was excitedly waiting for the trip, waiting for the Blue Eyes to take off into the skies.

Kaiba gives his dragon a pat and nods. Even though she can't see him, she can feel his intent. She takes off with a roar, circling just above the trees. She stretches her wings triumphantly and heads further out, swooping just above the ocean's waves.
For his part, Kaiba's satisfied. He looks every which way to take it all in, and he'll deny this til he's blue in the face but he's laughing. Genuinely. Because this feeling and this view are his dream come true.
But he's not alone out here. He tilts his head to check on her. "Zuzu?"

Which was to say, considering the strength of the Blue Eyes, she could stay out for nearly an indefinite amount of time. No doubt, people were taking pictures from the beach, and the Aether Foundation was noticing it from pictures. Some interesting tourists were taking note and down on the beach, Faba was adjusting his glasses in note, making a call to the Foundation as he was on break currently.
"This is incredible, I love this! Oh my gosh, I've never done this before, even back home! It's always on an Action Field!"

"That's the power of my Blue Eyes!"
But he doesn't want to push it too far until he better understands this technology, so after a circle around the island he nudges her to land. He slides down, and when he turns to give Zuzu a hand he looks happy. The smile lingers as he walks up front to give the dragon one last headrub before disengaging the card and sliding it safely into his sleeve.
"This technology...it's amazing. I need to know more. Could I study the disk?"
Please? He's not one to use that word, but he sure looks hopeful, as much as he tries to put on a more neutral expression.

She beamed at him, a 100 watt smile. "That was exhilarating, I can't wait to see what you do with the tech."

"My name's Ellen, I... just had to find out how you did all of that!"

Zuzu rubbed her forehead and added, "It uh... sounds simple on an explanation level. I lent the device out to Mr. Kaiba but I have my Duel Runner here which does the same thing. I can show that to you?"

Zuzu went over and tabbed the controls on the dashboard as she started it up. Demonstration Mode announced the bike. Action Field: Speed World Set.
In an instant, the world around them became a sparkling rainbow hue as a energy field spread from it, as Zuzu removed a deck and removed a card from it. "This is a Duel Monster card," she said, placing it onto the holographic blade which generated in front of the drivers seat which activated with a confirming noise. "I summon Solo, the Melodious Songstress!"
With a burst of light from a circle of light, Solo erupted from the pool of light as it settled into place next to the bike, awaiting orders. "See?"

"Wow... that's... that's amazing!" she said, shocked by it all. "It's... it's not magic, is it? It's way too powerful not to be!"

"The holograms have mass added to them, and they can act on a limited AI path," she added, as Solo went over to Ellen and offered her hand in a polite handshake.

Solo seemed to roll her eyes at that before dismissing herself in a shower of light. "Strange, she's never done that before..."

Zuzu spread her arms. "To Run, Jump and Soar with your Monsters in a thrilling duel! This was the dueling that was pioneered by Yusho Sasaki, and it caught on like wildfire. The thrilling Action Duels of Paradise City spreading like wildfire, where people entertain the world with their Dueling Playstyles!"
She smiled. "Maybe, one of these days, we could build a big Arc System somewhere here. So I could show you it instead of this dinky ARC System we have installed onto my bike or my Duel Disk."
