If destiny had its way on my world, the pharaoh's descendant would've gotten the puzzle instead of Anzu and the Thief King would've been cackling maniacally as he led us all to our doom without a moment's regret. But... spending a year with someone that on some level understands you like no other, and without the demon in the picture... well. The results speak for themselves, I think.
