Josuke may be new in this area, but this situation is at odds with his sense of justice, learned from his mother and grandfather, and he's not about to take a backseat and let these people just get away with things.

He managed to get a few bits of the armor, twisted loose with it's new shape, and pushed a couple of the back a step. "You don't have the right around here." He stated, knowing that much at least.
As he does so a pokemon he hasn't really seen before comes charging out, and headbutting one to force him another step back. The furfrou shook itself out and moved next to Josuke with a growl at the offending people, ready to fight beside the teen.
