Both Shay and Scuttle can barely make sense of the chaos until their apparent savior shows up. The Cramorant recovered just fast enough to dodge the incoming Bubble Beam but then proceeded to become entirely lost without their trainer's direction on what to do next.

At the oncoming holiday Z-Move, Shay sharply whistles for the bird to return back to his side. Which is thankfully loud enough for Scuttle to obey and stay out of the line of fire.
