"You don't even know what you yourself is anymore," said Dark Dream, her body starting to shimmer. The damage from the stun spore was starting to break her down, and she stepped over to Nozomi, one hand out, tears watering in her eyes before she grasped the air, her hand passing through the other girl.
"Remember... remember what you once were..."
And then, she flickered away, into light and shadow.
And then -- suddenly, everything went to hell.
When Tyzias struck the Beedrill, power collided. Unknown energy started to flare as magic swirled, the power of unknown proportions whirling around the Stadium erupting.
Tyzias. You done fucked up.
"We need to get to shelter!" shouted Leon as he gripped Wes's leg instead of yeeting him towards his Pokemon. "Call your Pokemon back!" he shouted at Wes. "Call them back everyone!"
The Pokemon that was once Beedrill rose up into the air, crackling with power as it rose into the skies. Energy flared, as the stadium began to crumble around it, but then, suddenly, without warning -- reality stopped.
Everything stopped.
As if bound by time and space, nothing seemed to move, as Bunbee chuckled, reappearing, stepping through the boundaries of the landscape, seemingly unaffected. "My my," he said, clapping. "You really did it Fallers. You just pushed the boundaries of the Gods, and broke this world's Law. My goodness. This is above everyone's pay grade that's for certain."
"This can't do at all."
Bunbee snapped his fingers and the Beedrill vanished and the pieces of the stadium rebuilt itself. "I do hope you won't do that again," he said calmly, his eyes narrowing. "Don't. Do that again. There's little chance of stopping something like that again. I'm sure the proper people have taken notice by now... and be warned, this is the only time I'll be helping all of you."
He smiled. "Grow stronger, rely on your Partners, don't rely on the crutch you call powers! Learn about the strength of the heart!"
And he stepped away, disappearing through a Ultra Hole which swallowed Bunbee in a flash of light. And then, Reality Unpaused itself.
